The Tucson Gem Show videos are so much fun to make. I've been to dozens of these yearly extravaganzas and every time is a unique experience because the vendors are always showing off new stones dug up in the far corners of the earth. That fun and exciting atmosphere of the Tucson Gem Shows is addictive. Try to make it there sometime. It happens every year from the end of January to mid-February.

Tucson is so laid back and boring you can literally die, be stone rigimortous dead, holding a cup sitting, and people will assume your sleeping even after a week. Kansas is 6 inches tall of only grass lands, forever hundreds of miles of nothing, not a building, a tree or shrub, or a hill, zip, zero, nada, forever it's 6 inches tall. It's like your all alone big time alone, and accidentally entered the twilight zone, but for real. The green federal department of transportation signs are a hoot : 234 miles to next exit, 334 miles to Denver, 451 miles to the next town ? By sheer luck. Entered a million to one restaurant, after a hundred miles, the "only" restuarant or building we ever saw, in the middle of 5th and nowhere. We walked in. Everyone stopped talking and stopped eating, silence, And dead pan looked at us, low muttered " Strangers ". But even if they only plant, and only the corn grows, that's way more action than Tucson. Best wishes. Losing your mind ? Life hard ? Want to jump off ? Come here to Tucson, step back in time, take a nap, you will wake up ten years later, and say, " Damn, now that was a good nap.". " Many ana" ( Phonetically, " man ya na ". ) Hispanic for " tomorrow ". After 10 minutes here, you put thinking permanently on pause and you begin to realize everything can be done, 'Many ana'. What were you thinking before ? Add 110 summers and it's a incredible beyond belief religious experience. " God damn my face hurts ! ". What really is 110 degrees ? You can't imagine . Make a pizza, half done, put head in oven, that's 110 in Tucson.
Refreshing that the smokey quartz dealer admitted that the black quartz was irritated in a lab. So many sellers aren't being honest or they're just resellers that don't really know.

$4,800 for an amethyst quartz skull? When you can buy a lower grade 10 lbs amethyst skull for $700 retail I think selling a $4,800 5.3 lbs skull is going to be very hard.
You do an AMAZING job going through slowly and showing things. I have seen others and they zoom through not showing things very well at all. Thank you!
OMG I couldn't imagine trying to keep the dust off of some of these pieces! I know certain ones go into cabinets but even still. Wheew.. Beautiful though. Absolutely beautiful.
