The X3 40i is a a huge step above the RX500 in terms of acceleration based on recorded data. X3's 1/4 mile is 12.8 seconds, whereas the RX is at 14.2 seconds.
Solid review.. my mother has the 24 rx350 premium. Lexus nailed it again. They made a 4cyl feel like a six. You never have to push it to get to 75mph. Thats pretty good in my book!!
Hi! These cars go for hundreds of thousands of miles so there shouldn’t be many issues. Currently ES’ that are right around $20k-22k have anywhere from 50k to 70k miles. Price variance is probably due to condition and CARFAX history. Main thing to check is to make sure all services were done at the right time and that all fluids have been either checked/replaced. I think you can find one under $20k the way you want it with 100k miles or less. If you have any more questions just let me know! I believe you can still get certified ES’ 2017 and up in case you want a car that’s had the Lexus 161-point inspection.
Got a Ruby Max hybrid platinum. Gray interior is very light. Almost a cream. So we like it. I had wished I git the portobello..just want tp say. We love its power. We get a great gas mileage as compared to our old Tacoma prerunner, truck. Btw our dash doesn't have the light gray . It's all black. Wish for platinum max hybrid we didn't have a black roof interior. We wanted a hybrid. The max doesn't make me fear lack of power for a road trip. Love it.
Honestly to say,,,this is much better than Lexus TX500h ..maybe just the name Lexus,,,but if one wants road trip and loaded should get Grand Highlander Hybrid (I would go with Limited due to 8 seaters!)
Great job reviewing, I actually test drove the TX 500h, I wasn't impressed with it versus driving Grand Highlander Hybrid Max Platinum, I have on order 😊
@@amithimani8163 Have you heard Grand Highlander having tank capacity issue, you could only drive 380 miles per full tank, means you could only fill the tank like 10 gallons or 10.5 gallon that's it !! And Toyota has not been fixing the tank capacity or most of time you drive only 350 miles and refill (my 2015 Prius plug-in can drive 430 miles before refilling)
@@jakepthsd Yes, This is the problem even with Rave 4, Hybrid, actually, people have been able to fill up up to 12 5 to 14 gallons, The fuel tech capacity for the Hybrid Max is 17.2 gallons.

We pick ours up over the weekend. Traded our GX in for the RZ 450e luxury, white with tan interior. LOVE this vehicle. This is the starting point for Lexus. Will be trading this in within next 3 years to take advance of any additional EVs that Lexus decides to launch. Watch out Tesla, Lexus will be top dog in next 8 years max. Guarantee it!
