Magicka gameplay, from Adventure Mode to PvE Challenges and PvP Versus, Vanilla and Modded, both serious and silly sometimes, mostly with high-level players and some newer ones.

You're too hard on yourself XD Watching ourselves is a good way to learn, I think those videos are a cool practical way to study our opponents and ourselves. I've gotten so much better by looking at the veteran players and correcting my own habits that I found cringe while watching myself XD I still see a lot of that XD

haha thanks for contributing to keep Magicka alive! I figured I would upload some games where we train wizards so that newer players would get powerful with less time and effort than what it took us to get at that level 🙂
Use walls to block attacks, trap opponents, manage distance and create lingering effects of any kind on the battlefield! Walls spells are a mean of both defense AND offense to help you survive and include the widest variety of options in their category, so use them extensively!
Micros? I don't even know what you mean 😅 No it's all skills. I changed my keybinds to put shift on my spacebar so that I can keep 4 fingers on elements at all times. If anyone tried using precoded spells with some kind of mod to just one-click conjure and cast, we would all actually wreck him. It's just muscle memory and the habit of engineering spells on the fly according to your needs. You'll see me miss my spell conjurations often in fact.
That's was great. Was the push/force blast used to increase thr range of some of the rocks you where throwing? It looked like they were summoned from over head and bounced off?
The technique is called a "self-cast push trick", the purpose is to be able to get someone behind the safety of a wall with a rock projectile, so what you do is you cast the projectile on yourself, but before you hit yourself with your own spell, you cast another spell in front of you or all around you, without any element conjured, so that the force that results push the rock that's above your head in sort of a diagonal trajectory, making it go over obstacles to hit targets beyond them. Also useful to hit people that may have the high ground over you. You can do a "double push trick" too if you want to cast a "pentarock" (DDDDD) and force-push it right away so that you don't need to charge your spell at all. The range is more limited though, but it enables you to cast a powerful spell really fast to inflict high physical damage. Casting without elements like this is also used to bounce back projectiles to the opponent, as some kind of counterspell.
@@markellis8990 No version is completely stable, but I suggest you get 1.5.1.0 and 1.4.16.0 in case the latest one gets too crashy. We mostly have those 3 versions and switch between them as needed. Versus and Challenge modes are more stable than the adventure, and each DLC that was released by Parabucks were less and less stable wich each update. Crashes are mostly a RAM thing, so everything you can do to optimize RAM usage will help. I suggest you play in windowed mode, it's the thing that helped the most people.
Yeah I was desperately trying to get the time to recompose my thoughts and the space to move freely after all the pressure you put on me earlier... I also hoped to make you remove your armor to launch you into the river but I struggle to shoot water balls at the very small window of opportunity you gave me.
