Thanks for this video 😊 You can also wear gloves so you don't accidentally cut yourself. Like leather gloves because you're handling bits of glasses that could easily cut you.
You can also use marbles; you can boil them in boiling water, strain & put in ice water; you can use colored bottles or stained glass; you can take a walk on recycle day or grocery store (eg beer bottles or liquor bottles) but thank you so much for this! Thinking of ways to strain out tiny shards, colander? Screen sifter? Great ideas!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Oh, and printer ink is cheaper than alcohol inks, go crazy!!!!
These are fabulous, and I plan to make at least one set. I don't know if you are still checking the comments here, but I have a question. At about minute 11, you talked about adding a layer of resin, and then the dominoes are shown with a layer of white. Is the white glue that will dry clear? Did you add a layer of resin to the shaker side or the number side? You mentioned you would try to find an easier way to do this. Did you find one and make a video of it? I've tried searching but haven't found another one. Thank you for any time or help you can give me.
Hi, Yes, the layer of white is glue to protect the numbers or front sides, don't add resin on that side. the shaker side is where the resin needs to be added. also, I made another video after that one on an easier way to make them by inserting a small silicone insert, I am still trying to find a better way to make them. You can check the other video his is the video link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jrZA-M_3MII.html
✨ I really liked the 3 flowers w leaves, and just with the white plaster. It inspires me to make one, and seal it with a spray flat or satin sealer. (Maybe I will gold leaf a couple of smaller 1 flower on canvas.) My son just renovated his Master Bathroom and I did a large plant pot with gesso and various white chalk paints to appear like a soap stone, or white stucco over concete, for a tall Silk Fig Tree. Your technique offers me the wall decor. Enjoy Your Creative Passions ... Appreciate the share, Best Thoughts ... Beth Tennessee, USA
YOUR AMAZING!! The dominos of my dreams. I have always said to myself that I wonder how we could make shaker bones. Like you, I searched and I searched ...nothing. I just about jumped out of my seat when I saw the title of this video. Your amazing
Great this gives me ideas I have a store-bought artificial electric fireplace and the thin plastic that simulates cracks in the wood illuminating cracked because it was extremely thin and brittle from being old I suppose. I may be able to patch that one spot using some expanding foam and a bit of paint. I thought about using a plastic water bottle and using a heat gun and a real log to attempt to get the texture imprinted on the bottle plastic. Not sure what will work best... I may be better off to completely recreate the see through portion.
