I just got off the Firenze. It's now 12500 points for a comped dinner, I finished up with 27000 points and was given the steakhouse and $60 for the candy shop. That's ridiculous, all my other cruises i was given dinners, excursions, a couples massage and the candy store and finished the cruise at 13000 points. I doubled my spending and didn't even get half as much. Very disappointed
I have 300 plus shares from COVID times, im %16 down, or $1100 in the hole! But im confident they will be above $35 a share in the not too distance future
The Splendor told me to come back when I hit 30,000 points...what????? On the Legend now.....3,000 not enuf to even get candy (after 1st night)....55 cruises...we are parting ways. They will regret messing with their gamblers....

Just got off the Carnival Firenze and all the casino hosts did was stand behind a little desk … no offers for an darn thing .. I had a lot more than 4,000 points … even my cruise play repeat offer was a disappointment got thrown in the trash …
I was on the same cruise, hosts were terrible, they lied to me about comps. I finished with 27000 points and was given a steak dinner at 15000 points, apparently I was supposed to get this offer at 12500 but they forgot about me, I said you mean you neglected me, I was very disappointed
Thank you for all of your Alaska videos. We are going to Alaska on the Legend in June 2025 out of San Francisco and your videos were very helpful. We’re going out a few days ahead of the cruise…any hotel recommendations around the port??
We stayed at the Hilton about a mile from Fisherman’s Wharf and pier 27. There was nothing to do around the hotel. I suggest you get within walking distance from fisherman’s Wharf. If you rent a car, then it was an ok hotel. They will soak you for $60 a day parking and the hotel room was $250 per night. We went two days before the cruise. If you are flying in, purchase the bus back to the airport and book around an 11:30 or 12:00 pm flight. It worked out perfect for us. Hope this helped.

@@LarryG-ge4jr We flew American with a short layover in Dallas. All our flights were on time and even early arriving back in Tampa. We were actually worried about the flights. In July we went to Vegas and our friends missed the entire trip due to them cancelling their flights after they flew into Charlotte. It cost about $800 for the both of us.

@@Ambientmopar 😂 you sound like Terrie, she hates anything under 90. We did not experience anything really that cold to me. It was in the 50’s, but felt like 70’s to me. If you stay on the ship, it’s as anytime inside the ship. The main pool on this ship has the roof closed. It’s warm in there and all the pools are heated. Just make sure you bring a rain resistant jacket due to it drizzles a lot. I we had two stops where it was sunny, which they said was rare.
@@michaelbolton-un8cx how many day cruise was it. I just got off a 10 day, had over 11,000 points. I got a $60 Sea Food Corner. No free cruise. I was told I needed 12,000 points. I just laughed at them.
So pretty much a balcony cabin. What an innovative upgrade the Spirit class ships were when they were new! Totally cutting edge when they came out ;) I still actually like them a lot. Haven't sailed a Fantasy class yet, probably better get on it before they're gone. I really do like the small ships. They may not have all the bells and whistles, but your experience is likely to be way better than the giants.

@@shellycoffman9624 We have only been in September. We were checking temperatures all summer and it always seemed to be in the 50’s. The sunny days we had in Haines and Tracy Arm Fjord were a rare event according to the locals.
usually if you show a copy of the obituary, they will give you a full credit for a future cruise. You will always get anything that you purchased as in drink packages or excursions refunded.
@@ColdD3villll If you bought trip insurance, they will pick up what the cruise line penalty took. If you cancel 119 - 61 days prior to sailing or before the final payment is do, you are not penalized anything. After that it works on how many days you cancel before the sailing. the closer it is, the more they take. Always call your PVP or travel agent and sometimes they work with you and give you a full credit toward another cruise. If you booked a casino deal with a non refundable deposit, you will lose that. It happened to me.
I am still getting a lot of offers, free cruises; but they are giving $100 per cabin onboard credit rather than $100 per person. The casino perks in the casino have gone crazy. It almost takes 7000 points on a 7 day cruise to get any steak house or sushi.
So adding the money to your sails and sign card you would owe a balance at the end of you cruise? You spend what you put in at the kiosk, and what you don’t use you will get refunded or you can cash out at the kiosk? ❤
I did a vista Xmas cruise last year. it's a Fun ship ! Smoker friendly 👍. I'm VIFP just gold tier , and not a high roller. I'm still being offered Free cruises ! Free drinks shipwide, $200 onboard spending, (which is my deposit) $500 casino cash for a interior, $200 for ocean view and $100 balcony. I choose my room about 50 ft from smoking on 11. No noise or drama. I got the free steakhouse and bottle of wine and $200 more casino cash Xmas. I can't wait for my 8 night Aruba cruise 👍
I'm on the Valor now and the new point system SUCKS!!! This is 85 Carnival cruise, most of which are casino offers, and never have been treated like this. They gave me be a picture frame! I always get a Steakhouse dinner but not this cruise. A picture frame. Come on Carnival, casinos make lots of money. I'm totally disappointed with this crazy point change and hope enough cruises complain and things go back to normal.

I am shocked people continue to book and promote the Carnival Vista ship. This is a 100% Carnival and Vista issue and the individuals that should be held responsible and FIRED on the spot are the useless CHRISTINE DUFFY AND JOHN HEALD. These two wastes spaces of individuals have given all women leaders and brand representatives a bad name. I was on this same horrible Vista ship when it broke the 3rd time. Week after week this shameless liar and corporate greedy woman, Christine Duffy would send out emails one day before embarkation to all booked guests stating that the ship had JUST developed a propulsion issue and that it was being fixed by Engineers on board...She and her corporate puppet John Heald LIED and sailed the ship week after week for 9 months. As a result ports of call were cancelled or we arrived hours late resulting in all shore excursions and destination visits to be cancelled, itinerary changes, etc. This is the height of shamelessness by Carnival and specifically these corporate thugs. It is very easy to stand on the sideline and point fingers at disgruntled passengers who are calling out the TRUTH that Carnival is running a scam with this Vista ship at the cost of thousands of guests week after week. If something like this happens to you then you will realize versus judging people who are suffering due to Corporate greed. I cannot insist enough everyone people - please write emails to John Weinstein the President of Carnival Corporation to fire Christine Duffy the Present of Carnival Cruise Line and this wasted space John Heald.
