I don’t use an anti graffiti top coat, I know it’s always a worry depending on where you are painting. If it is damaged it’s easier to fix it by painting on top again. If you use an anti graffiti top coat the colours aren’t as sharp but there are options to use. It depends on the client and where you are to what works best.

@@mika123almundo Ahh brilliant!! Glad you did and even better in person :) Couldn’t capture it all! Yes for sure! When I am in the UK I am based in the North East! So there will be some UK adventures shared soon! I have just seen your channel and look forward to following your adventures! Hopefully we will cross paths in the UK!
Heya! Thanks for sharing this video - these tips are great! I'm a little stressed about this mural I'm about to start What are your thoughts on using both spraypaint and household latex paint in one mural? Is it too tricky to mix it up?
Hello! So glad it was helpful to you :) Also love the emoji you used but you defiantly have this Jacqueline!!! Using both is a great combo, the spray paint is great because its quick for big block areas and then if you are using the brush to get that hand drawn feel that you have in your illustration work. It’s defiantly about finding the tools that work best for you to get your creative vision onto the wall. If you are worried about how the two paint surfaces look together, try a little bit of both together on paper on canvas (any surface) and just see how they sit, if you are overlapping them check that they work on top of each other etc. If you have any other questions let me know :) I am very excited for you and your mural!!!
@@nocciolathedrawer Hehe, thanks! I'll give it a test this weekend. I might be overcomplicating it :p Spray paint seems intimidating because I don't know all of the techniques, and I've never used it before. I do like having control over the outlines of things, so it does makes sense to use a brush for that. I just don't want to end up with a huge mess... but it seems like it can be forgiving, plus, my style is pretty flat already. :)
@@jqlnstudio Yes I know what you mean about spray paint being intimidating, it seems uncontrollable and difficult when you haven’t used it before. It does take some practice and I will try and do a video on techniques with an expert with spray paint because once you know a few tricks and tips it is helpful. I think a combination of both is a great introduction into use spray paint but without have it to be a pro with spray paint so you have parts that you do with brush. Spray paint in defiantly a lot quicker! So any big flat areas that are not difficult shapes would be great for spray paint. Let me know how it goes :)
Yey! So glad you found the video useful and look forward to you creating a window mural! I usually use a combination of golden fluid acrylics and Arteza with posca or pebeo paint pens. I have used many different brands along the way and any brand acrylic paint should be water soluble. If you check on the back there should be a directions for use and if it says clean with water and soap then it’s good to use 😄
Great video! In not even 5 minutes, you have provided so much value, and I am sure you have answered a lot of people questions. Well done. Also, congrats on the 500 subs! 1k sub coming soon ❤🎉
Thank you so much Victoria for sitting down with me and sharing your creative world :) Such an inspiration and powerful work! Hopefully we can creativity cross paths again soon :)
Very unique style, that was so cool! I am impressed by the things Victoria can create, also you can see the passion she has for this form of art, as she said: "I would do it even if I wasn't paid, is like food for the soul". AMAZING! Well done for this interview, it was very inspiring and I am sure you have shown many people a different style of art, not common like a "normal painting".
Yes so glad you highlighted that line! I thought it was very powerful! It’s like food for the soul :) So glad you enjoyed and it’s an amazing style of artwork and so happy to share her work and inspiration behind it! It will inspire many people I am sure :)
