Lovely to see that man! big like! We had a great food tour in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. I definitely suggest you check out the western part of GZ! There people are real old Gs! I had Simon, the local guide, who took me and my friend Jeff, the Chef, into the real street food paradise - guess what?! we survived and documented all of this as well ahha
How in the world, China let's you in their country? You look mentally disturbed. You must used your " White House credential " to gain entry into China. You look like you hangout in Pattaya Thailand, or Magsaysay ave. Olongapo, Philippines.
@@HappyHourWithMatt Most countries, do not give a fuck even if you die at the doorsteps of their hospitals.....So buying the adequate medical insurance is a protection for yourself.....especially in Mainland China, if you got no money then you are screwed when it comes to medical emergencies.....you cannot blame them for they are still a relatively uneven developed country.
@@HappyHourWithMatt You know who else was born in Guangzhou and grew up in Boston? Donnie Yen, the Hollywood and Hong Kong movie star that played Ip Man, haha. His parents are both in Boston……
@@HappyHourWithMatt Ip Man was Bruce Lee’s master. Bruce Lee’s hometown Shunde (a suburban area in Guangdong province. Guangzhou is the capital city of Guangdong province). Shunde is now part of Foshan district, which was the hometown of Ip Man, Bruce Lee’s teacher. Donnie Yen played Ip Man in the “Ip Man the Grand Master” movie series. Donnie Yen’s mother is a martial artist. His father is a Chinese newspaper editor in Boston. They live in Newton. Donnie Yen also played the general in the Hollywood Mulan movie. I grew up in Brighton and then Watertown. My alma mater was Boston Latin School, haha. Now I live with my husband in Los Angeles. Enjoy your stay in Guangzhou. There are Eight Major Chinese Regional Culinary Styles, and Cantonese cuisine originating from Guangzhou (Canton is the French pronunciation of Guangdong province pronounced in Cantonese) is the most famous among them. Wonton noodles soup, barbecued pork char siu (chashu in Sino-Japanese and xa xiu in Sino-Vietnamese), roasted suckling pigs, dim sum, double skin milk, claypot rice, roasted ducks/geese are some of the most famous Cantonese dishes. Shunde is where they train Cantonese chefs. Anyways, enjoy your stay and greetings from Los Angeles…..
I think you would have an awesome life in China ...a country that has great nature .. yummy delicious food.. great convenience public transport... wish you both have a good start of China ...🎉🎉
I know that it is extremely difficult for Americans and their allies to believe that the pollution in China isn't too bad anymore. China has many EVs in the big cities. Even fog, Americans and their allies refer to as pollution. Truth is that it's normal for any country to have fog and cloudy days. The pollution isn't that bad anymore, folks, and I ain't lying to you.
lived in Guangzhou for a few months when working there. it's an exceptionally humid city. with occational typhoons, kind of wild for me tbh. I prefer the north or cooler parts inland more like sichuan yunnan or somewhere up north
the chinese are the most evil society, why the ffcuk would you do something stup1d like that? wow! There goes half your kidney if you're lucky, but i'll just assume your body parts been used for organ harvesting in 2wks!
Wow...Good luck, the apartment looks pretty good. I'm having a hard time adjusting my life here in China after living in the US for 12 years. How ironic LOL...as a native Chinese, born in China, is now having trouble adjusting to the culture here.
Thats really big detour, no one do that😂 there used to be direct flight from NY to China, the sinophobic US gov banned the flights, what a shame! But still, i guess through LA or Japan is better route
