There were a lot of disturbances during the live video and it needs some serious editing. However, I decided to re-record it -- it will be quicker and easier than editing it!
Seeing is a function of Jojma, hearing is a function of Binah. Hearing is linear(Binah: one bit at a time, in a series of words. Seeing is the entire picture. Jojma is vision, sight. There is a statement of the Sages: "The fence around Jojma is silence" Silence refers to Keter. Active silence is hearing what is behind the words. Words can not always express everything. Chashmal is electricity. Chash=silence Mal=Speaking..Sometimes silence and sometimes speaking, and sometimes a speaking silence Listening for the message behind the words and a deep listening is the ability to extract wat is relevant to my inner self transformation.💙💗
After your Yael's question about the nephilim last night I went back to the sources and started to look into it. And lo and behold she was right! The nephilim were indeed Aza-el and Shamchazai from before the creation of man. They were the ones who argued "What is man worth that you should have him in mind?" This was actually the creation of man when Hashem said to the malachim (angels) נעשה אדם and that was their response. The Gemara (Shabbat 88b) however, uses the same verse in the argument of the angels as to why the Torah should not be given to man prior to Mattan Torah. So I assumed that these were the same angels, which they weren't. Thank you Ya'el!

Key point of this video: Finding out your divine purpose does bring about healing of the physical. One way to find out one's divine purpose is to pray to God In order to receive enlightenment on what the divine purpose is.
Hi Rabbi. I have 2 questions. First, is there a way to recognize a dream as divinely inspired and not just an ordinary dream, i.e. a personal subconscious desire or just a mix of random thoughts? Second, I was looking over chapter 14 of Gate of Reincarnations, Sh'ar Hagilgulim, and I think I'm back to not understanding what my soul is, or who I am. Is my soul a mixture from others who have come before? Thank you for the short video. Maybe we can discuss in class tomorrow?
I hope that you won't mind I love to hear what people have to say about God. about the Torah so interested in the word of God as well the Holy Bible and as a read I feel like I am eating I feel like my soul is eating so is a hear your I hear your words in a different way always respecting others beliefs and always trying to learn more
Shalom from Israel and thank-you for sharing. I find your lecture very inspirational. I am at the University of Haifa--stuck up on top Mount Carmel. It makes it hard to learn Torah or have Jewish Studies--very secular campus. My Rabbi recommended that I plug in via the internet to stay connected and continue my learning. Thank-you for your words of wisdom and knowledge.
