this video is terrible not only cause he makes you sit through each part of the install but uses a terrible AI voice... why on earth would you install Cpanel and pay $17 a month when you can host your website for free without Cpanel.
Can u plz help me nd solve my problem, everything goes good while I was install it but at the end it told me “the installing process was unable to synchronize cpanel &whm. Verify that your network can connect to http update.cpanel, net and return to the installer” idk how to verify
At time point 19:37 you switch from terminal to your other OS. I have no other OS on this computer. So how to configure server with command in terminal? Thank You!!
Sorry . I watched your video but I installed it but I can't log in. And the error message is: initial_setup_wizard1:1135 GET server-domain/libraries/requirejs/optimized/require.min.js net::ERR_ABORTED 401 (Token Denied) Can you help me? how to fix it ?
Be sure you don't violate the terms and conditions with self hosting or your isp or will shut you down. You may want to upgrade to a Business grade isp plan from your current residential. At that price point your homelab project may not be worth your efforts and rather choose to lease out server space and pay a hosting provider.
If your ISP does not allow selfhosting a personal web server for non commercial use like a homelab, then, you can always hide your IPv4 address using Cloudflare reverse proxy, or in my case use Tor or I2p to hide my IPv4 address. Many ISPs are managed by assholes, so, I suggest using a service like Tor or I2p to hide your IPv4 address.
@@AnwarBinIbrahim actually you are right as isp should not listen on the paskages you looking trough. its a breach of privacy. unfortunately nowadays software developers walks hand in hand with pc manufacturers and they somehow with government and then they pushing people to lease not just the software but the services too where after 1-2 year the host who provide the domain too will increase the price. thanks to gnu and fsf we have better options like the money hungry microsoft we do have linux and that provide opensource with no drm with no backdoors and it is entirely free

Yes, its safe to host from your house but if you host illegal content such as child pornography, or copyrighted movies or music, or firearm tutorials, then a law enforcement agency such as the Russian FSB will arrest and prosecute you. Like Silkroad, which saw Dread Pirate Roberts @ Ross William Ulbricht sent to prison for a life term.
I can't access from my own computer because cpanel is configured to access from other network, in other words, when I try to open the link that cpanel provides I get a white screen, but when a friend opens the link it works well. I don't know if you are using a different network to connect to your server, if not, please tell me how you did it, thanks.
What about internet speed? How fast internet speed is required to accomodate heavy visitors traffic on a social network application hosted on this server?
If your site is getting so many visitors then you need to figure out how to monetize them, therefore you can invest the money that you get into better server infrastructure and invest in streamlining the code in your application(s).
@@rscprimetech2888 i have all done. But i haven’t any static ip i am using dynamic ip. So i can't able to use website over only localhost. Anu way yo dynamic ip?
@@programmingwormhole website will work for dynamic ip. problem is whenever router restarted, your ISP will assign new ip for your router and you need to point domain to that ip. if you want static ip contact your ISP (Internet service provider). Good Luck.
@@rscprimetech2888 if i use centos in virtual box than i Don't need static ip from isp? Because i already install ventos server in my computer. But it not working out side network i haven’t static/real ip
