We are Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, consecrated women of the church. Impelled by the Spirit active in each of us and faithful to the charism of Blessed Clelia Merloni, we seek to make the compassionate Heart of Christ better known, loved and served. We do this by personal and communal witness to the Gospel, commitment to growth in holiness, and ministry to the people of God.
Listening from Philippines..may your convent be shielded from demonic attacks, evil powers and principalities..may it have earthly saints whose prayers reach the altar of the Lord..may the holy angels and saints be with you all now amd in times to come until the end of time🙏
5 signs you are called to be a nun. 1. You accept the teaching of the corrupt papacy above thew teaching if Jesus. 2. You are willing to cxloswe your eyes to institutional pedophilia and covering it up. 3. You think with your emotions insead of your brain. 4. You are an insecure person who needs someone to tell you what to do. 5. you want to masquerade your failure to succeed as a woman, a wife, and a mother with a pseudo spiritual religiosity oblivios to the fact that nuns are no where taught or found in the teaching of Christ, bt were copied from pagan Buddhism etc.
Hello sister please help me please my mom suffering kidney disease and I face poverty and unemployment please feel my I'm really needy I'm just humble request to you please 🙏
I'm a man discerning a vocation and this video spoke to me. It struck me that not all Catholic men likely are considering the priesthood, but yet ever since my conversion I have had the feeling that this is a most fitting life for me. Do you think that most Catholic men do not have this constant calling that doesn't go away or is this thoughtfulness about becoming a priest rather rare? It never occurred to me that all Catholic men do not have this thought.
You have nothing to lose by following that urge within 🙏 I would say it crosses the mind of many Catholic men, definitely not all, and the fact that it is persistent is a good indication that you should take the first step and seek guidance from a good priest! (Pethaps you have done so already....keep praying!). Prayers for you 🙏 ❤️
Down the Street in former St.Kilda, Victoria met a nun, she looked at me and said, IT is a vocation I can see it. Wojciech, once a South Yarra, and St.Kilda resident.
Thanks for this video 🙏I'm still struggling to know exactly where am supposed to be whether it's marriage life or to be an Catholic sister I'm at the middle and I still don't know what to do,I have 23 years old a medical student can you pray for me please just to know which path exactly to follow
Ahhh thank you… I’m starting my discernment and I’m talking to a vocation director and looking for a good spiritual director 😊 I am really excited, I know whether I enter religious life or not I am glad for this journey 😊
I’ve definitely experienced the calling to religious life but I chose not to pursue it because of family things. So instead I will be living a single life. Do you have any comments on having a calling but not pursuing it?
Yes, I do have: you will regret it. The true call from God is the best way for you to find happiness and purpose and fullfilment. Trust Him; He is the only one you can safely totally rely on.
St. Ignatius of Loyola teaches in his Spiritual Exercises that when your own will is aligned with God’s will, you shall know great consolation. If you are not at peace, that may be a sign that you are not living in accordance with God's will for you life. At the very least, He may simply be asking you to consider it.
Acts 1:21-22 states that for a man to be an apostle, he had to have been a member of the band of disciples from the beginning, and to have been an eyewitness of Christ's resurrection. This woman is not an Apostle . She is just a woman who believes she was called into a religious sect of Christianity (mans church ) called Catholicism . The Catholic church is corrupt and far away from Jesus Christs commands . Catholicism demands you obey Catholic dogma in order to be saved . The bible says you are saved by grace through Faith in Jesus not religion . If you think you will be saved from hell by believing in the Catholic church instead of reading your bible and doing as Jesus Christ Words command (then you are a Fool). John 4: 23-26 As Jesus said to the prostitute (woman) at the well , Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us. Then Jesus declared, "I who speak to you am he. The True Church is all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and are saved by the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire , It is called the Body of Christ all who are a part of the True Church are called Holy and Priests of Christ . Other than that if you think you will be saved from hell just by being a part of the Catholic the you are a lost soul.
Pray, pray, pray! Start by researching religious orders online and reading about their different charisms. There are many resources including a website called Vocation Match. Then attend discernment retreats or Come and See events so you can meet the Sisters. Pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance. Many of our Sisters say they knew in their heart that they were called to our Congregation. When you know, you know!
I check 3 of the 5 boxes, in the order mentioned in the video. It's been a complicated and tumultuous ride to discern my vocation and most of it has been because of my own impatience and fervor (which can be a double-edged sword). Now I am just trying to surrender myself to Jesus and trust that He will make things clear to me when when He deems it the right time.
Well, if guys dont want to date you and are turned off by your trying to convert/proselytize them, that might be a good indicator. Not that I have anything against nuns, although I havent seen one wearing a habit in literally decades.
Too old and too many barriers...To encourage many who may feel similarly, there are lay religious groups who gather together, or a prayer confraternity that may be a positive alternative. There is a recent Hungarian Saint who dedicated her life to church ministry, after being rejected by orders. She didn't give up, and gave her life in lay ministry, and helped to form new groups. She persevered to serve.
Do you feel drawn to community life, or priesthood? Start there. If the priesthood, go to your local Diocesesan office to the vocations director. If it's community life, check out the various Orders and Charisms that you feel pulled toward. I encourage you to "take a vacation" at a Friary or Monastery and check it out. No matte what, it's prayer. The Holy Spirit will guide you to the right place. 🙂
Monastic life is something I find appealing for years but never thought about seriously. Then came 2022 and my first retreat in an abbey and... nothing feels more like home to me than such a place. But, I have a family to take care of, so I can't. So I decided to give a shot at joining the Secular Discalded Camelites because I really really really feel drawn to the Carmel nonetheless. Just thinking about it brings a stupid smile on my face and I love the little Therese so much, she brought so much wonders to me. Please pray for me.
