I’m planning on moving there in 2025. Preferably around May, June or July. I lived in Fl for ten years and I don’t want to go back. I’ve seen many videos on Fairhope and I decided I’ll give it a try! I’m all about adventure! If you don’t try, how will one ever know? I don’t know anyone who lives there but it won’t be long once I’m settled to meet new friends! I need to find a rental place in a retirement community. I’ll be 62 in April. If it’s income based, even better!
I chose to purchase my first home in Baldwin county in 1982. I was ridiculed by co-workers who said I moved to the country. I still own my home here and occasionally think about my ex-coworkers who want to move here from Mobile but can't afford to.
If you're seeing this video and wondering about this community... It is really nice. We just purchased prior to knowing about Tina but I just wanted to say that it's a nice community and these won't last long with the recent price cuts. I'm not affiliated in any way with Tina or Lennar. Call Tina before they are gone!
if I may ask - could you shed some light on why AL gets so much flack from other states? From the perspective of an outsider, it seems like a nice place to live.
I think Alabama's past history from over 50 years ago created a stereotype in movies and TV shows that is a huge disconnect from what Alabama is today. The truth is, people from all over the United States, and even other countries, are fleeing to our state! Especially Baldwin County, having the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metro, which from 2022 to 2023, was the 10th fastest-growing metro in the nation, according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau. If you've never been to Baldwin County, AL, you're missing out!
@@TinaBranch - it's really reassuring to get information from the folks in the county. Not just conjecture from other states folks. God willing, if tonight's interview goes well and the h1b processes swiftly I hope to join you all before 2025. If its God's will, the doors will open. thank you so much for the response, I appreciate your time, God bless
Best wishes on a great interview! I would love to be of any assistance, once ready to make the move. Please text/call me at 251-295-6071 or email Tina.EliteRealEstate@gmail.com when ready.
I've noticed that most of the ladies in Baldwin County have really great hair. I'll work there a few days a month and the hair standards are way above Pensacola.
Hi Tina, we like the double doors out to the back, the back Lanai, the large kitchen and the 3 car garage. Is the lot included in the starting price of $474,900 on the Maronda website? Thank you!!
It's really confusing with Holiday builders to figure out what is standard and what is an upgrade. That is an impressive house, although I might have a heart attack to know what the additional cost of those upgrades are
I really liked how you showed the location on the map as well as all the surrounding businesses and attractions. As someone looking to relocate for retirement this format was really helpful.
Hi Chris. I'm so glad you like it! It warms my heart to help. Please reach out directly to me, I'd be happy to help you find a retirement home. 251-295-6071 or Tina.EliteRealEstate@gmail.com
Most large builders do develop a number of complaints over time. Keep in mind the rather incredibly large number of houses built by these large builders and then compare that to the number of actual complaints and you will find that even though they have a number of complaints, their numbers aren't bad in comparison to much smaller builders. Yes, they do have a "reputation", but that's the typical case for most all very large builders. You can go with much smaller, local builders but be ready for the cost to go up significantly in most cases.
There is a retention pond in this neighborhood. I'd have to check on the availability of the homes around the pond. Send me an email and I'd be happy to send you an updated list of availability and pricing. Tina.EliteRealEstate@gmail.com
Unfortunately Lakeland subdivision is sold out already. If you like this floor plan, I can find it in another neighborhood for you. Send me an email at tina.eliterealestate@gmail.com and I’ll email you back the prices in other subdivisions.
I am not finding a Newport plan. Maybe it’s offered elsewhere in the U.S. If you can, email me the floor plan and I can find you something similar. Tina.EliteRealEstate@gmail.com

Tina, my wife and I moved here 4.5 years ago from Phoenix. My coworkers and neighbors still ask me if last summer was worse than Phoenix. We still say 99 here with humidity is easier to take than 117 in Phoenix. I grew up between Chicago and Milwaukee and my wife was a out west Gal we believe one of the best things here in the Spanish Fort Fairhope area are the people there are the friendliest we have ever met. People don’t understand if they’ve never lived in huge cities of Phoenix where there’s 5 million people within a 70 mile circle that nobody is really kind and willing to help you. Everything is 50% faster living in the big city. Living here, also has made me personally a more patient person, because nothing in the south is really pressing to get done. It could always be done the next day. 😊 Some cons that I would say about this area are there are no good Mexican restaurants, no good pizza places, and we finally found a great Chinese restaurant after four years the Shanghai cottage in Fairhope is big city quality. Both my wife and I love it here and plan to spend the rest of our lives here.
🤣 you are definitely right about a slower pace here! My husband talks about no authentic Mexican food also! Since you grew up in Chicago, I’m sure you can’t find any pizza that compares! I’m so glad you love it here!! And thank you for your lovely comment! If I can every help you don’t hesitate to reach out!
