From our historic walled garden, I take you through our gardening journey, as a friend and mentor. To help you relate to and feel more confident about learning and creating a beautiful space.
I’m Jenny and my husband is Tom, we live in the stunning vale of Clwyd in North East Wales UK. Our walled garden dates back to around 1770, and since 2008 we have lovingly created a brand new garden within our historic grounds.
I’m a self taught gardener with no family gardening background. My love of gardening began in my twenties. The year I became a first time mother.. I signed myself up to a free start garden design course at a local college during maternity leave and the rest is history!
My RU-vid channel is an honest account of my love of gardening through the seasons, our current and future projects and all the fun in between!
So much fun seeing your descriptions of the gardens and special areas of Chelsea Garden Show. The angles at which you were photographed showed such a personal view, being different from the actual show videos. Loved It! Thank you for posting.
Thank you so much for this. You gave us a glimpse of things and angles that even the BBC coverage didn't show us, so personable and meaningful. You're the best.
Very enjoyable! But your automatic subtitling produced some unintentionally hilarious homophones: "an old rose style flour," for instance, or my favourite: "The Floral Marquis": he sounds fun! Is there any way you can edit them?
This was incredible, must have been so delightful to see it and smell all the flowers! Also love to see you wearing a beautiful feminine outfit and pink colour compliments your hair so well. Also many thanks to Tom for capturing the gardens' and your beauty ❤ (loved your little but clear gesture for him to come closer to the table display by that new famour rose lol). Also we could hear you perfectly fine! And happy for the colours, was wondering how they made the journey 😅❤
Thank you for this lovely snapshot of the flower show. I think this was the best view that I have seen on You tube! One of these years I am going to get myself over the pond to see the Chelsea flower show in person. Also, I LOVE your stunning garden and so enjoy your channel.
Watching from Cape Cod, MA US and just adore your garden and your videos are always the perfect combination of peaceful and informative. Thank you for sharing;)
Ever so pleasant and relaxing watching your videos. I have a rather big garden myself and have started landscaping it afresh this year. At 68 it is a hell of a job, but so rewarding after all. Gardening is the best health treatment of all. By the way, I live in the north of France.
Love your advice. Lovely garden. Always inspire me to do more in my garden and find you a GREAT teacher for someone like me who knew nothing about gardening. Never had interest in gardening but COVID changed that. For something to do I started to take interest and had an attitude of “ live or die “ with your knowledge and advice I put more effort and thought into it. So thank you very much for sharing your passion with us ❤❤❤
Well done on the garden open days, what a satisfying result. I’m off to feed bulbs and deadhead hellebores after watching this, thanks for the tips. Loved the video, garden looking spectacular !
I pruned my hydrangeas today too so I’m so pleased that I seem to have done it correctly after watching your video. When I bent down to pick up some leaves I discovered a hedgehog hibernating beneath. Such a wonderful surprise!
