Hey miss, i might be wrong, but if you look at 2:25, did you not accidentally cut a blood feather? I saw the bird react instantly after you cut it. Please correct me if i am mistaken
I currently have an untamed love bird, he will get face to face with me and take treats but is still terrified of my hands after months of working with him. I am still working with him, but I kinda just let him do his own thing when he is out and flying around. I am about to take in a new love bird who is tame. Do I need to worry that my new bird with bond with him and stop being tame??
Just hold your new lovebird every day for at least a couple of hours off and on, eventually your existing bird will start to come around once it sees the new bird's behavior with you. That has been my experience multiple times 😉 Best of luck!
Noooo !!!!! Let the parents feed the babies until they are 3 weeks old. The babies need all the nutrients and enzymes only the parents can provide. You only hand feed the babies before the 3 weeks if you notice that the parents are hurting them, other than that, leave them alone until they are 3 weeks old.
Not true. Lovebirds can breed all year long over here in Florida. Are your birds 12 months old or older? Are you sure you have a male and a female? Do you have the proper size nest box for them? Is the cage with the nest box set up at least 5 feet off the floor? Do they have a mineral bar, cuttlebone, and shredding materials for nesting in the cage? Good nutrition, plenty of food and water?
@@LovebirdNursery they're like 2 or 3 years they have a special rock that help them to make the peak sharp and they have a nest box but up in the nest they seems to cut paper and put it in the feathers but when I looked in the nest they made the paper particles like sand
