The cheers that exploded when Pearl jumped onto the stage during Shark Bytes is gonna forever be one of the most important moments culturally for Squids and Octos everywhere.
Lately I've been listening to Sonic music when I work out, but yesterday I decided to listen to this. I'm not even exaggerating, I was able to do 2 extra reps of pull-ups, rows, and dips which I had been plateuaing on for the past week or so. I also was able to hold my planks for longer than normal. Splatoon music is just that powerful.
Just used this for 2 hours of workout, playlist ended just as i ended too, it was meant to be. Actually very enjoyable playlist and super super motivating 🙏
Honestly, thank you so much for this comp and the sequel. I'm starting to work out for the first time in a long time, and this is giving me so much encouragement!! Thank you thank you thank you!! UPDATE (December 2023; listed in replies bc RU-vid wouldn't let me edit my comment for a while): I've lost 7 pounds!! And (more importantly) my knees don't hurt as much when I climb stairs/inclines! If anyone is having a hard time getting started, a tough (but reasonably easy) workout is going down a set of stairs and (carefully) climbing them back up backwards. I did that as my main workout for a while (did one set of 20 reps), and I'm starting to mix some more things in. WE GOT THIS, Y'ALL!!! UPDATE #2 (March 2024): Hello, friend! Haven't been updating you lately, but I wanted to post a reply in case you/anyone else was interested. I've gained some weight back... but I recently lost it again! We're at 10 pounds lost!! It's going slower than I'd like, but we're making progress!! UPDATE #3 (May 2024): WE BE FITTING INTO DRESSES WE COULDN'T BEFORE, FELLAS 💪💪💪💪 LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO Still at 10 pounds lost, but I'm getting more trim!! I hope people see these updates and know that it's taken a while (with very on-and-off consistency), but please know it's possible! Take your time, do something fun, listen to great music like this to get you pumped and motivated, and know that we're all cheering for you! 🥳
You have no idea how glad I am to hear that! I'm actually in a similliar situation, so I get you. I finally found enjoyment in working out again. We got this 💪
thats awesome! as someone whos started to work out last year, it really does make you feel better and more awake. dont forget to warmup and stretch before and after! good luck!!
