The Bible and the Torah provide clear warnings about false prophets, those who claim to speak in the name of God but are not truly sent by Him. In Deuteronomy 13:1-3, it is written that even if a prophet's signs or wonders come true, if they lead people away from the true God, they must not be followed. This aligns with the Dead Sea Scrolls and Jewish scriptures, which also emphasize discerning truth from deception. Jesus Himself warns us in Matthew 7:15 to "beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." These false prophets often use flattering words, signs, and wonders to deceive, but their fruits-what they produce spiritually-will reveal their true nature (Matthew 7:16-20). The Greek Bible underscores this in 1 John 4:1, where believers are told to "test the spirits" to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. False prophets like those described often arise, claiming to have special visions, dreams, or abilities, such as the ability to "see around corners," as Sheri Dew suggested. However, the Scriptures emphasize humility, truth, and alignment with God's word over any sensational claims of supernatural power. In Ezekiel 13:3-9, God speaks against prophets who "follow their own spirit and have seen nothing," proclaiming judgment on those who deceive His people with false visions and lies. God declares that these prophets will not be part of His people, and their names will not be written in the book of Israel, showing the seriousness of misleading others. Moreover, prophets and priests who lead God’s people astray by aligning themselves with Baal and Moloch, as described in your message, are condemned in Scripture for their idolatry, corruption, and perversion of justice. Exodus 23:8 and Deuteronomy 27:25 speak against bribery and the shedding of innocent blood, condemning those who prioritize wealth and power over righteousness and truth. Finally, Jesus calls us to repent and follow Him, warning in Matthew 19:16-30 that wealth and worldly gain can prevent people from truly entering God's kingdom. False prophets must repent of their attachment to the Baal system-seeking fame, money, and influence-and instead, return to God in humility, casting off their idols and seeking His true will.
Wow love this talk remembering my parents when our family was getting taught by missionaries. They hesitated due to the word of wisdom… then our mother fully joined as us children were already. Beautiful, heartfelt messages. I'm reminded how very much we are all loved. Our Heavenly Parents and our Savior are in our corner! They want us to grow and stretch, learning to become our best self. Oh my gosh thank you for sharing this authentic and real to life experience. We don’t always “win” the miracle we pray for-“find our keys we pray to find” get the job we prayed for,have loved ones return to the Covenant path…get the “miracle” we pray for. Yet I know we must still be faithful and obedient and keep our covenants. God is with us always. Even in disappointment and loss, in fact most especially. The miracle is more likely understanding God is with us always. Blessings aren’t just getting what we think we want but getting the guidance and support in spiritual growth the Lord knows we need

A Spirit that is not man or woman, but refers to himself in the earthly form of a man and our Father because we, our spirits that sprang from him are his children in that way. His Teachings can be summed up in three words, "Love One Another". We are commanded to love him and doing so, love each other. The Trinity One single Divine Spirit (God) has manifested itself in three ways in the three eras of mankind. In the first era as Jehovah, through Moses, as God, Father and Judge, provided the basic Law. In the second era as Christ, incarnated in Jesus, as God the Master who, by example, taught Humility and Love. Now in this third and final era God has come as Spirit as in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth and provides new Revelations teaching Wisdom, more advanced knowledge of his Arcanum. Humans Beings formed of three components, eternal spirit, temporary body and a conscience. Our spirits incarnate into human form and, as necessary, reincarnate as a way of our eternal progression. Humanity is now in its third and final era. This is a time that, given freewill to do otherwise, our spirits will conquer the matter by truly learning to love God and each other. Elijah The spirit of Elijah the Prophet of the first era, as a forerunner, incarnated in John the Baptist in the second era, and now, the special envoy of the third era. Mary The spirit of Mary the Mother of Jesus has a special mission as our Universal Heavenly Mother, Intercessor, Comforter, representing Divine Maternal Love. Satan or the Devil There is no one spirit that is the origin of, or representation of all evil. Now as Spirit with new Word for us to understand our true lives in eternity. Religion All religions will go away because they've become materialized, fanatical and away from God's Law of Love. Church organizations are materialized by conducting businesses of teaching God's Word in exchange for material reward, lighting candles, repetitive ceremonies without heart felt thoughts, offering flowers, feasts, building extravagant temples and works of art, dressing up in fine clothing, thinking that rewards occur in this world. God does receive the sincere worship that comes from these activities but Returns to remind us that the true worship is to imitate Jesus, be humble, glorify God by forgiving those that offend you, then forgive more, impart charity at every opportunity, then give more and remember that ostentation has no place in God's Kingdom that is spiritual, divine and eternal. Worship True worship is to do good works of love and charity and glorify God by forgiving those that have hurt you. True prayer does not require any positioning of your body, location does not matter as God is everywhere. Try not to pray with spoken language, but spiritually with thought and feeling. Stop praying for yourself, love and pray for how you can serve God to guide all of his children back to him. Love and pray for not only your family, not only your circle of friends, not only people in your church, love and pray for everyone, especially those that you perceive as lost and offensive. Listen my children: Hell is incarnated and disembodied, in inhabitants of this world and of the spiritual valley, hell is the symbol of the great sorrows, of the terrible remorse, of despair, of the pain and the bitterness of those who have sinned greatly and whose consequences will be freed through the evolution of their spirit towards love. Glory, on the other hand, which symbolizes happiness and true peace, is for those who have turned away from the passions of the world to live in communion with God. Joseph Smith was led to the grove and was given the desire in his heart, through scripture, to know what church to join. It was put in him and he acted according to that desire. God knows us, he hears us, and he blesses us according to those desires. We were chosen before we were born. It's all such a glorious plan of God.
