Hey Heather! Great place to have a wedding! May through October are generally when you’ll find sargassum on the beaches so plan around it. Also, my full time job is a wedding photographer. Maybe we could chat about it - I know the area and resort well !

You will love it there! South Woodstock is a ten minute drive outside of Woodstock and is a perfectly quiet winter town. We stayed at the Kedron Valley Inn. It was Snowy and perfectly Christmas 🎄 ❄️…if you want to spend more money then Woodstock will be fine as well. Hope you have a good time!

Thanks J! Glad you enjoyed it. It’s breathtaking you won’t be disappointed. Took about 3 minutes by cart and 15 minutes walking. Construction wasn’t a huge issue but this was last year and I know they are doing some big things there. The biggest downside for us was the sargassum in the ocean. It causes a bad smell when you’re near the beach but it’s seasonal and we were there in July so it could very well be gone by now
I love my island but PR isn't what you guys make it to be,, tourists only see what they show them but go the ghetto and then talk that stuff about it being the place to be.
No worries man. We wouldn’t tell you to visit Camden, Harlem, or Compton if you came to the mainland so why would you suggest that? Every place has bad and good. We like to focus on the beauty and serenity your island provides its people and visitors.

Puerto Rico🏝🇵🇷 has plenty of beautiful spots to visit beaches, mountains, 78 towns, rivers, friendly people, amazing sunsets, delicious food, great weather, fun road trips, party busses for bar hopping,sailing ... So why would you want to go to a ghetto? 😂🤣When the U.S. has the best ghettos, Bronx,Philly, Camden. Also you don't have to be rich to enjoy the many free activities the Island has to offer rent a car and let the adventure begin🏄♂️🏌. Maybe you can't afford to enjoy and stay in nice places. That's another conversation.✌️
