The resin stayed tacky because the light that makes it cure, couldn't get past the darkness of the coloration of the bee. Resin wasn't exposed to the light.

I made one for my sister-in-law and she's stretched it out, where half of the cord is like out now. How can I prevent this? Is there a better elastic cord to use?

When you are doing the 3 layers of UV resin on top of the glitter and/or vinyl are the layers of UV you put on thin? These turned out beautiful!

These are adorable! I have a question though...at 11:38 in your video, a pinkish/purple & blue tool comes into view on the screen. You didn't show using it in the video, but I'm very curious what it is/where to find it. I believe it's used to help pierce the existing hole on the blank and help clean it/smooth it out. Please let me know...need that tool. Thanks so much!

Thank you for this tutorial! I have made a few keychains after watching it. Also, I ordered the CCDIY as it is your recommended UV Resin and I love it! It's now my go to. I tried many different resins and never cure easily. The only thing is that I wear a respirator and still get headaches. I switched to doing it outside and has helped a little.

Love your talent and your video. Will the acrylic paint wash off in time? Do I need to seal it?
@rikionYT
@rikionYT Год назад
Thank you so much Anita! I haven't experienced the acrylic washing off over time. I think the glue to adhere the rhinestones seals it pretty well! However, you could absolutely seal it for an extra layer of security. Another option would be to spray paint the lid. I've done it both ways 🥰

These are beautiful. UV resin is just as harmful and toxic as regular resin / epoxy and you should consider wearing PPE to minimize your risk of harmful effects which can show up at any time after repeated and prolonged exposure.

Welcome back! I took a little break from RU-vid as well for sorta the same reason as you except mine was just life!! I like your ideas for upcoming videos but by the looks of your channel and the videos that you currently have I’d say you should still do tumblers and some rhinestoning!! Those videos are what got you monetized!! 10k, 16k views, that’s huge!! As you know it’s completely up to you but you asked for thoughts and that’s mine! Wishing you all the best

Hi, is the UV resin different from Epoxy? Does this need the hardener?
@rikionYT
@rikionYT Год назад
Hi!! Yes, UV resin is different from epoxy. It doesn't need a hardener, but it will need a UV light source to cure! You can use a UV nail lamp, a UV flashlight, or even sunlight to cure the UV resin 😊
