Love these workshops! Maybe it's just me, but I notice that I'm much more conversational throughout the break when I start with a question. "If we handed you $1000 right now, what's the first thing you would buy?". I don't know the psychology behind it, but I'm just a shade more stiff when I begin with a statement (even saying something exciting). Thanks again for the great content! - Jesse Addy
Starting with a question "tricks" your brain into thinking you're in a conversation However, it often gets predictable and doesn't have same impact as a statement. Work on different techniques while polishing the same conversational presentation as if you were asking a question.
Solo shows have their own set of challenges. In some ways it's much more difficult than being part of a cast, but a team show introduces a different set of problems that can lead to sloppy performance. In many cases, purposeful meandering is easier without a partner. Just don't get lost when you're doing it!
