Paul.made a living for years spending hours not talking about anything. The proof is in the comments

Ah, and there is an art in that. It's not what you talk about, but how you talk about it. It's the difference between being relevant and relatable!

Love these workshops! Maybe it's just me, but I notice that I'm much more conversational throughout the break when I start with a question. "If we handed you $1000 right now, what's the first thing you would buy?". I don't know the psychology behind it, but I'm just a shade more stiff when I begin with a statement (even saying something exciting). Thanks again for the great content! - Jesse Addy

Starting with a question "tricks" your brain into thinking you're in a conversation However, it often gets predictable and doesn't have same impact as a statement. Work on different techniques while polishing the same conversational presentation as if you were asking a question.

Great info, thanks for sharing the tips on how to do it on a solo show or in a different dynamic than a large team
@TracyJohnsonMedia

Solo shows have their own set of challenges. In some ways it's much more difficult than being part of a cast, but a team show introduces a different set of problems that can lead to sloppy performance. In many cases, purposeful meandering is easier without a partner. Just don't get lost when you're doing it!
