I had a dentisy talk me into a crown on a front tooth when i went in to repair a small chip. He should have dome bonding instead, and i should have knocked his teeth out. My procedure was not done with the care as this one. Good dentists are worth their weight in gold.
Should I etch the tooth before bonding, or bonding alone is enough? Question 2: at the day of cementation, what's the protocol exactly.. Must I etch and bind again?
Correct me if I'm wrong, so that is the whole purpose of the adhesive layer, plus it retent to the bonding agent also right? Or did I miss something? Also is it recommended to use it for composite restorations?
Can you add a protective layer on your teeth by yourself? I think I have exposed dentin on the back of my tooth from poor dental hygiene when I was younger. I can't afford the sealing and am looking for a way to protect it from wear.
