On my way back home from Brasov one night many years ago, I couldn’t find any cars to stop and had to walk from the train station along a dark, country road deep in the mountains. Because our house was so far from the town of Ditrau, I got very tired and worried about bears and wolves so I found one of those little huts the shepherds use. Unfortunately, I soon felt too cold to sleep and knew I had to keep moving to stay warm. It took another few hours to get home in the total darkness. It was another experience I’ll never forget.
This film is not about Hungarians. They have a different cultural history, which is another story. This film is about the Saxons who lived in Transylvania from 14th century. However, since the time of Ceausescu most Saxons have left the country (as the film says), and of course the Hungarians living in Romania are now Romanians.
It is environmental friendly if you only use for local means. Tree also grow by themselves, without the need to plant them. It becomes destructive when forests are cut and sold to IKEA, or in the form of pellets around the world. It is more than enough for local use. The mass export of Romanian trees is the problem!!!

He used to come every year to relax on his properties, however I am not sure since his mother died not long ago and he became king. He said that Viscri, Romania, is his second home. I know that he did some changes after he became king, he put his king sigil/symbol on his properties.
