Guys, I have the proper solution I have creta SX, I was not satisfied with the sound quality of the original speakers, so I installed Bose speakers at front doors, and replaced rear door speakers with front door speakers, however then the output at rear door speakers was too low. So finally I installed bose l20 speakers which are cheaper than creta bose speakers at rear door. And now the sound quality is fabulous at all 4 doors, also the base is sooo good at rear door speakers as well.
Usually all cars nowadays have speaker system designed with front passengers in mind and is set usally centre focused or driver focused , rear speakers are just to fill in the space for spatial audio/surrounds . The same as is the case with home based home theatre systems wherein the surround speakers fill in the soace for spatial audio
There’s only 1 solution to this, technically with bose you can’t do anything other than installing amplifier and giving its input from front speaker connection, so that rear speaker can sound same, as the system doesn’t give enough power to rear speakers and it is designed in that way only for driver oriented, so installing amplifier can only help when the input is given to amplifier from front speaker, but doing this will stop you from using fader as front and back but you can use left and right anytime you want and the audio will be center oriented as it has to be.
bought kia seltos one week ago noticed the same issue the front speakers are very good, while coming to the back row the speakers are definitely below the line. Can anyone reading this comment tell me wether the ambient light work backside?
@@2dnxtdimension I got this directly from the seller for 16500rs. 😊 Also thinking to get the T5 sub, though I'm happy with it's bass output, just to watch movies and for a full home theatre experience. But I read somewhere that it goes to auto standby after 5 min of playing, but the seller is saying that it goes to standby mode if we pause the music for 5 min (Confusion). My question is T5 has low pass filter right, so when connected to 1855db does the speakers completely unloads the low frequencies to the sub?? or both the sub and speakers plays the low frequencies together??
@@thegreatestofalltime777 I got the 1855 for 15.7k and the T5 for just under 10k. I used the 1855 alone for a few weeks and then got the T5 and the change is just night and day. First when i connected the T5 I thought the sub is DOA but the low pass filter and volume nobs behind the sub had to be adjusted. And when i did and played music and movies, OMG the difference is just incredible. We can set the bass frequency in the sub according to our taste.. which means, after the set freq the low end will be transferred to the T5.. so i guess the freq above the setting and mids will be carried out by the 1855. All in all, incredible set.. I love these more than the soundbar i have at home..(zeb 9800).
you may have realise this now, but its from ages. its hyundai protocol to keep the rear speakers less loud and even smaller in size as compared to front one. just come back to i20 on 2010 verna fludic from 2013 and even any car in HYUNDAI its same. now you think to change the speaker and replace the size with bigger one “right”? but thats also flop idea. the output from amp. is distributed low as according to front. so basically i think they are focusing to attack on driver most with sound effects. rest of passengers should not notice much in journey. anyways you everyone ll have different point of view on this. there are a lot to write on this coz i work in this field.
@@2dnxtdimension thanks for the reply bro... i sold my realme soundbar and i bought this ... got nostlagia because ealrier i used Altec Lansing ATP3 for 17 years...

I bought KIA sonnet last week and it also has issue with rear speakers. Checked with KIA service guy and was told that is how KIA provides. They are not ready to fix it also siting warranty failure if changing the rear speakers. Looks like KIA has scamming providing dummy speakers in rear😢
''In general, rear speakers should only provide low-level “fill”. Having rear speakers provide more than just low-level fill will destroy your imaging by sending confusing cues to your ear-brain. This is particularly true in a vehicle because your ears are often closer to the rear speakers than the front speakers.'' integralaudio.com/blog/post/evils-of-rear-speakers seems like the rear speakers shall not be as loud as the front ones.
We used Maruti vehicles for long time but did not encounter this issue in any models of theirs. In any case i feel KIA should allow to fix it if owners ask, without impacting the warranty.
@@vinivedivinci1 yes brother i get the point.. and i second that by saying the dzire (1st gen) which we still has at home has a lot of volume in its rear speakers.. same with other cheaper cars i have driven.. but at the same time i can say that the clarity is not upto the mark with the details and depth imo.. from my long research what i understand is car manufacturers aim for a soundstage at the front of the car as if the music team is playing at the dashboard..in which way, the set up is spot on.. and i guess having better volume at the rear means more engineering needed to not make it sound weird as mentioned in the article shared above..which again means more R&d leading to more expenses..
Not only in hyundai or kia in every car rear speakers are sub standard.. as they are obly midrange speaker .. so for good sound remove the speakers and and install 2 way coaxial speaker you will definitely observed the change
i bought my creta yesterday and felt the same. but what i realised is in front there are 2 speakers, 2 tweeters and 1 central speaker on dashboard and at rear only we have 2 speakers, so obviously front effect is more than back, what say rahul ?
All i want to say is about its look... As you said, we can't judge its look in a 6 inches screen . when i see these videos it feels like its just a normal bike. But when i see it very closely in a showroom, only then i realized how majestic it is🔥🥵
I was facing the same issue with Creta SX(O). And then I communicated the same with the service advisor and got the right rear side speaker replaced. But still facing the issue persistently and would like to escalate this forward too.
Same with my new i20. I enquired with service centre people as well. They say this is how it sounds and it is not defect. They shouldn't use BOSE branding with this kind of speakers. As OP said the speaker lack in every aspect, no bass, no proper vocals, not even a 3rd grade assembled speaker quality. I feel like I updating the spaker to proper sony/JBL/Alpine one for rear alone. Please suggest if that is okay to do. Hyundai just added a minimum sized Sub woofer and call it as BOSE. what a marketing gimmick. Feel bad for SELTOS and CRETA owners as they pay even more price for this.
bought 2022 seltos gtx plus , facing the same issue, quality of bose speakers are not upto the mark , complained to kia ,they send an technician who checked only whether all speakers are playing song with any crackling sound at about 20 volume level, and went , again i didn't close the complaint told to send an sound Engineer technician from bose side to check , they send the same person, recorded the music playing in phone send to some person, he told no issues with speakers, i don't know what to do. i have bose soundlink 3 , which is has extraordinary sound output every time will be amazed while listening, it will give depth clarity and bass . but expecting the same from seltos bose with 7 speakers and 1 sub, totally trash feel like splitting at kia for disappointing with fake advertising and creating hope .
