Hi, my name is Melissa! Welcome to my channel! I am the wife to my best friend Lance, mom of 2 boys, Nick who is 26 and Logan who is 24. I am from Georgia, but I moved to Louisiana in 1990, got married, and never left! We are almost empty-nesters and this channel has become almost a challenge to prove to my boys that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! So, I share things that I know: shopping, cooking, cleaning, and organizing!

Melissa I just came across your channel and I'm so happy I did. I'm surprised I never found you sooner because I follow Indie Annie Jones. I loved all the projects and I learned a couple things i didn't know which is always what I'm looking for, such as the reverse transfer. I love the shiplap and brick wall in the beginning of your video. Did you create that brick wall and if so would you mind sharing the process please?
@@merleglass4063 I wish I could say I created it! I am filming in my dining room. I’m so glad you found my channel!! Thanks so much for the comments!! Welcome!
You are quickly becoming one of my top favorites. I loved them all! All are adorable. BTW you get the best stuff on your neighborhood alerts! I loved the frame. They are hard to find or are expensive. ❤❤
I love Christmas and all of your CIJ projects turned out so pretty. When you printed your reverse image, did you use an inkjet or laser printer? I giggled a little when I saw your nails, they look like mine normally look lol The more I watch your videos, the more I just love you. You should come on the Crafty Cruise Getaway with us...we would.habe so much fun!
@@CraftingCousins I think I have an inkjet printer. I wasn’t crafting when I bought it. I have whatever one is not ideal. Girl!! I don’t know if you noticed but by the end of the video I had taken that polish off!! I would love to do the crafty cruise, but right now it’s just not in my budget. Maybe the next one!
The framed planter looks so cute and totally outside of the box, but they were all great. From watching other crafters, maybe try hot glue or resin in those small finicky molds🤷♀️
Oh my goodness they're all beautiful. I don't know which one's my favorite. I do love the little truck bowl or tray but they all came out so so nice! Thank you so very much for joining my playlist. Have a great day😊
Really enjoyed watching all of your projects come together. The first one where you combined the 2 pieces from the 2 different thrift stores was my favorite. I could see that being a centerpiece on a table or a place to put keys, etc. on a table by the door.
I really loved your second decor piece. The paper that you decoupaged on it was gorgeous and I like how versatile that piece can be. That is exactly my style 😊
They are all just stunning! It’s hard to choose a favorite but I think the frame with the basket is my favorite!! It’s so beautiful and so unique! Thanks so much for sharing!
First time here! All your projects were very creative and I loved them all, and I especially loved the first project with the wooden tray and candle holder. It turned out so pretty. Liked and subscribed!
Hi Melissa! Great thrifted DIYs! I love them all but project 1 and 3 are in a tie for first place. 😊 Thanks for sharing and giving us new ideas for our thrifted or tired home decor. XO ❤
