hi guys, i dont understand how unloader valve (UV) working, and when we build a new compressor, the pressure of Oil Separator is Zero, and how the plunger of Unloder Valve can move down without pressure, thank you very much
i will explain it to you i read it before . there is air pipe coming from receiver and enter the solenoid valve when the receiver maximum pressure the air solenoid valve open the air pass throw blow off valve and open it . and then to unloader .that air will push up the piston of unloader .when the piston up it will prevent air to enter element . the plunger can move down by element vacuum .
Just a question, how come the oil separator didnt have insulated gaskets below and on top of the separator flange which prevents electric current discharge or prevents fire from catching.
Because separator's flange need to contact with oil receiver tank so that entire electrostatic on separator dischagre throught it to ground (Aircompressor cover connected with a ground cable) . If two objects are in equal electric charge, no sparking will occur. In the case of a separator with a pair of gaskets, they must be made of a conductive material such as graphite amiang or they will be clamped onto pieces of conductive metal.
