Pati’s Mexican Table was born out of chef and cookbook author Pati Jinich’s nostalgia for the foods that nurtured her childhood in Mexico. Part travelogue and part cooking instruction, in each episode, Pati takes us along as she shares her Mexico with us, then invites us into her kitchen in the US where she teaches Mexican cooking as it is prepared traditionally in Mexican homes as well as how it can evolve in delicious new ways.
Each season explores a different region of Mexico, highlighting its diversity and allowing us to become familiar with the breadth and depth of its regional cuisines. Pati introduces us to the chefs, cooks, artisans, and families behind the recipes and lets us in on fascinating destinations and bits of Mexico’s culture and history along the way. Back home in the U.S., she features the stories of other chefs and cooks and weaves in pieces of her own story as an immigrant happily torn between two countries.

I’m glad my family lost that nasty sounding accent when we came to America 🇺🇸 we are respectful of our American culture and education system that has brought us a fruitful life here.

Umm, did I understand that right? Eating maple flavored, toasted flying ants? Nope. Never gonna resort to that. Unless I'm stranded on a desert island and that's the only way to survive. I think that the word "delicacy" is a euphemism invented to make really odd things sound appealing so that one will eat them. I'm a Latina from the border and we do our best to avoid flying ants at all costs. They have quite a sting/bite that can kill you if enough of them attack you. Again, that's a big NOPE for me. LOL! 👎😱
You have taught your boys to notice the myriad of flavors and to be able to pick them out individually and describe how they work together. Noticing and articulating is so important in the culinary world. What a gift that you have given your muchachitos!
Conosi a pati el domigo pasado aqui en los Angels ca ..compartimos tacos de deny trejo y su projecto call la frontera .. Fue un placer conoserla..una persona lncreible Pati muchas gracias
Just finished making the albondigas y arroz dish. The sauce for the meatballs was delicious, but the meatballs themselves were a bit boring. Next time I think I will add some oregano and rice to the meatballs - perhaps some mint as well. Perhaps the meatballs would be tastier if made from beef instead of turkey. I would also add a chili arbol (or two) to the sauce for a little additional spicy kick.

Dear God💗❤️♥️💖💕💕💖💕❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the , life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.
The Gospel of salvation of our souls: 💜💕💖✨💖❤️📖✝️🕎💡💡❤️❤️💞💕💖❤️❤️💖💕💕💜♥️❤️💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,

Pati, last week I went to dinner at a local Mexican restaurant in Waco, Texas called Taqueria Mexican Grill #9. I ate Tacos al Pastor. They were delicious. I would recommend eating at this location because the people are super friendly and it is a great place for lunch or dinner any day of the week.

2 worlds separated by less than 10 feet yet such dissimilar culture, 2 people's the same human beings yet separated by way of life, everybody surfing the same orbit around a great big burning star called the sun. I do not think we will ever know why so we might as well share the one common denominator we do know and enjoy some wonderful food with some hugs and smiles to garnish our spiritual energy.
