I'm Joe and here we talk about cameras, streaming, and the tech behind it all.
My goal is to give you an honest opinion about the latest and greatest tech, tips on creating your own content, and much more!
About me? Well for starters I'm a dad, tech nerd, photographer, gaming streamer, and Marvel geek! I started my RU-vid journey reviewing diaper bags because dads needed representation in the baby gear world! This led to me working with national brands on multiple projects including content creation and conventions! Creating content drove my passion in photography which eventually led me to streaming and all things tech. It's my goal to teach you what I've learned and to help your goals along the way.

saving money for this... cute thing for playing retro games and extra monitor for music player. :) hoping you'd make a video exploring the features of the k3 software though.. i downloaded the k3 driver but it would not open unless the k3 keyboard is connected
I may have to do a follow up. TBH I use a Mac as my primary computer for work and streaming. The app is only Windows based after I researched/recorded this vid
Hello there, a tad confused, so I have a ps4 and want that ps4 screen to be displayed on my acer laptop via hdmi, what would I need to make that work? I’m thinking a splitter but please advise me, thank you
I am planning to buy this item. Since it is under $75, it is perfect for my needs in my budget. From the video, it looks like the sound clarity is amazing. I think I'm already sold to it after seeing your video. haha!
Awesome video. Thank for demoing the product. I didn't know we could hook this up with so many devices at the same time. I look forward to your future videos on this :)
The G1 NEO Audio Mixer has truly elevated my audio game. I like it's build quality and the sound effects. The preview that you showed in the video answered most of my questions and made me buy the product right away. Thanks man!
I am trying to decide which one to buy between g1 neo and amc2 neo. which one is better? I need it for an audiobook production and both these products are equally good. So I am considering trying one of these out for my audiobook production.
@@MatsuXL thanks! , I plan on getting the switch for the hd60s game capture , so I can switch between Xbox and Playstation without having to unplug and replug into tv!
I know that Twitch is still tinkering with 4k streams in the near future, however for someone who is primarily streaming, the Mk2 at 1080p will easily suffice for the next few years. Might be better to save money on the camera and invest in better lighting. Lighting is always king IMO.
Hey Matsu, nice comparison some suggestions for your next video. Try to keep the Cameras at the same position, changing the angle that much really gives a different perception. Try to add the information a bit higher on the frame since the youtube timeline overlays it. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the feedback. In a prior video I set all cameras in the same position/angle and also displaced the mirrorless back to show the same viewing angle. In this scenario I kept both mounted at the same distance above a monitor. This was to demonstrate the advantage of the webcam because against a traditional 24mm lens, the webcam gets a bigger viewing angle. Also the advantage of window/natural light was given to the mirrorless. This was to increase the disadvantage of the webcam in hopes to prove its fight. Text was set for mobile device viewing but I can see what you mean for those who watch via desktop.
Thank you for the review of the Z30. I just purchased one but I'm having trouble with lag. I've tried USB-C connection and NIkon webcam app, as well as HDMI with Elgato cam link. Have you had any problems with this?
The Nikon WebCam app is 100% trash. Definitely use an HDMI capture card. I have recommended Elgato camel as my number one choice but if you were on a budget can use something like a Genki Shadowcast 2 and still shoot 4K and capture the 2K. I could probably make a video and send you links if you’d like.
Currently using a 4k X to capture PS5 footage using an iPad. Works great, but I have trouble using it was OBS. My main issue with it is the picture being too saturated and/or dark. I connected it to my computer to disable tone mapping, and while the colors are more flat, I can fix in post, but at least I don’t have to risk overexposing the footage. Very convenient recording tool, especially for screenshots.
@@Los4rmdagang4 - I do use a monitor utilizing the pass through HDMI port on my 4k X and do ALL capturing on an M1 iPad. There are some examples on my channel, but I’ll be adding more soon. I just finished up a run with HDR disabled on the console, and it helped the picture/capture on the iPad from looking overly saturated.
@Los4rmdagang4 i’ve used the 4K X and the HD60X. I have not tested with lightning port iPads at this time, but potentially can in a future future video
Unfortunately, I’ve never used the C2 but I think if I’m not mistaken, that one has battery power. Everything else looks about the same, so I really think one is more portable power on the go versus more desktop.
I have already had a PD200X and C2NEO from Maono, I would strongly recommand their products, it's really awsome! I love the new mixer, G1NEO, it seems great, but I got C2NEO😤
Maono is killing it. I love their products. I just picked up the PD400x mic, G1 neo and their AU-MH601 headphones all for $200 its an Awesome setup that I don't think can be beat as far as price to performance. The PD400x is such a great mic.
