As a Pompey fan imo we went into this game as being a potential bananaskin but came out playing great football and got the crucial win. Thanks for the kind words and I wish Wycombe well ……. Enjoy the final this weekend, although it’s a low key final it’s a great day out at the home of football. Again thanks for the kind words for us ……..PUP 💙
Fair play to Wycombe as an Pompey fan one thing I thought was good for you guys was the first half you're team kept pressing and when were making sloppy passing in midfield and defence playing deep you encountered it very quick. I thought defence let you guys down massively, but it could be us good at breaking them down. All and all wish you luck hopefully you can beat Derby after were play them and keep looking after our hometown boy Matt Butcher 👍🏻
Why are you so down and demotivated by your demeanour? You have a great team there and I will be a WW fan at the final. You have more than enough to put those cocky Posh fans in their place. Good luck
Same... Cannot agree more with you here... more Vlogs should be more accurate like this one regardless of the score. Enjoyed this post... E.I.E.I.I.E.I.O...
Top vlog mate. So refreshing to actually hear an opposition fan gives us credit. Good luck for the rest of the season (especially Pompy & Derby 😂) & good luck in the trophy final 👍
I was there, didn't even realise Scowen got a red. Ref kept adding more and more to the end of the second half, seemed like he wanted Rovers to make a comeback. Good time for a turning point after over 10 league games without a win!
Enjoy Scotland - I will inform the club to return that extra barrel of Guinness they ordered in - or I might just drink it myself. Have a great Christmas.
Very good meeting you before the match Eamon 🇩🇰🤝🇬🇧 , as i said football / football fans is universal .. great experience despite the result .. reckon both Clubs will have a decent season 🙏
Good video mate from a exeter fan. Fair assessment on defence and your younger players. It's early days and come the end of season this game will mean nothing 🏴🇬🇧🇷🇺🇺🇬🇵🇸💯💙
Thanks for the video. We've all had to watch our favourite players leave. Feel for you. Hopefully, he'll enjoy his football here and can help bring us success. All the best for you and Wycombe. 👍
@@talkthechairboys I know. I was holding out for an uptick in form and maybe a playoff spot and within a couple seasons be back in the championship again but now with mehmeti gone it looks unlikely. It’s a shame he can’t play at the level he deserves with us.
The way city is set up, he will be able to score every game. We still ain't lost yet this season. Just need to find more goals to help turn the draws into 3 pointers . 18 league games to go and 10 points from a play off spot. Ok we just Semenyo and Conway's out for another month . But with Bell, Wells, Weimann, Sykes, and now Mehmeti, & Cornick, . We should be able to start climbing the league. Is it too early, to believe
Thanks for the insight buddy, I live and work in High Wycombe, lots of my chairboy colleagues say he is / was your best player, did you know how much city paid for him?
Great game. One of if not the best away games of the season. Think we just about out played you first half but you pretty much dominated the 2nd half and never really got a clear chance on goal. Really good numbers the only criticism is there wasn’t very much noise from you lot, however looking at your supporters it’s understandable. Made some great noise when you came to us though. I think gareth Ainsworth is a top manager, really honest in his post match interview so massive respect for him there. Hopefully you make the play offs again this year.
I’d say you more then Just about out played us. Wednesday are a brilliantly organised side who deserve to get promoted . Good luck for the rest of the season.
@@talkthechairboys would say we would’ve took a point from that game but happy with 3. Especially as Byers and James came off injured, Gregory has only just come back, same with famewo. Plus missing Bannan, Ihekwe, Henegan to injury and mark mcguiness being recalled we thought it was gonna be a draw or loss. Hopefully that gives us the confidence of our squad depth. Best of luck for the chairboys
We do have a broad geographical fan base, for example I assisted so that two relatives from Hampshire and Gwent could sit together on the side in the additional away portion for the day. I will always remember Wycombe fans and their gracious demeanour in 2012, as we went up and you sadly went down. 🦉
last season SWFC avg the most fans outside of the P,L from finishing 4th in L1 THEY BEAT all the Championship clubs SHEFFIELD is englands 4th largest city 23yrs now with NO P,L SWFC but you huge club 25k fans avg so far this season in L1
Highest average attendance in League One is at Derby. All Derby’s away matches ticket allocations sell out almost instantly. Only Sheff Utd, Sunderland and 12 Premier League teams have higher average attendances.
