Well, it's more of a: we're both out of hp, mp, dynamis, aether, strenght, anything. The only thing we can do is to throw hands 💀

i appreciated the player character to do anything at all in a cutszene. usually i think "im a ninja, i could just teleport there and knife him", or "im a WHM, easy benediction and go". but since the player can be any race or job we usually just stand there or run at most. The same reason why the Monster Hunter MC doesnt use his weapon in cutszenes.

It's the old adage "I'm out of mana not out of options"

@@kaz7886 I think the fact that the player character's weapon was knocked out of their hand was also a factor here, as even casters usually need that to channel their magics.

I have no idea 🤔 it spooked me so that's why i used a witching after it came back lol I thought it was a weird enrage i didn't know about 😂

It got de-aggroed, you can tell by the fact that for a split second its hp bar got to the different color, wildfire was still on and engaged the mob immediately after that even though the knight still ran to it's initial spot and restored hp to full. It's a bug that rarely happens when u'r running very close to one of those fog walls, the mob u'r fighting gets de-aggroed.
