I just scooped up OM6, and let me tell you, it is a game-changer, especially with its smart tracking feature, which totally caught my eye. I just set this bad boy down on the ground, and it starts following my kids as they zip around, which, by the way, they find absolutely hilarious! The panoramic photo mode is insane too, If you switch to the "CloneMe Panorama," you can hit that shutter button, and it takes a photo every several seconds while it pans the gimbal side to side. It snaps three photos and then stitches them together for this epic panoramic shot. It's honestly such a cool feature, and my kids are all over it - they can't get enough, and to see them engaging with tech like this is just the icing on the cake.💪🌞
Also important how to get the cam out of the case. I press it carefully down at the end, so that the gimbal comes first out. Don’t pull the end out, so that the gimbal comes at last out, you could damage your screen mechanism (and the gimbal too).
Question. How can you still take images in intelligent mode? For instance, quickshots, circle. While the drone is circling, how do you take still images instead of filming?
Wow just noticed this, when you said please subscribe there was a RGB ring glowing for few seconds around the actual subscribe button. Very cool touch RU-vid.
Thank you so much! Very good content, concise and informative, obvious information was not looked over and more in depth material was presented wonderfully. All of this is not a given, a well thought out presentation (editing was fantastic as well). If I could make a bad pun to illustrate my point, you didn’t drone on!
Your tutorials are 100% excellent this is the second time with another product and I’m using your channel to set it up and I am impressed. Keep up the good work. Very detailed.
Just came back from vacation and used the Flow extensively for more than a week. I found the mode switching very frustrating. Sometimes the mode would switch without me being aware of it. Not sure if it was operator error (probably) or not. I found changing the mode very frustrating. You change it by sliding your finger around the dial. Sometimes it would change easily, other times it took multiple attempts to get it to change. In generally, the tactile feel of the controls are poor. It was difficult to tell if I had actually pressed the switch or not. This resulted in some messed up shots. Finally, the tripod is a nice feature, but it isn't very sturdy. When it was windy, I stick had to hold the tripod to keep it steady. Also, when fully extended, the tripod is top heavy and falls over. The inability to use the manual mode with my Android phone was frustrating. Finally, the images weren't as steady when walking as I had hoped. All in all though, I had a lot of fun using the Flow. I guess for a consumer level gimbel and for the price, it is pretty good.
@:32 when he said "DJI didn't send him the camera he paid for it with his own money" that's likely a bunch of BS. I can imagine how many takes he had to do when recording that line due to having a lot of problems with presenting an honest looking face because of the incredible difficulty in holding back a smirk or busting out laughing.
I'm getting ready to buy both a Mini 4 Pro and the Air 3. Both will come with RC-N2. Do you know if I use the same controller for each drone, will my custom flight settings (expo etc..) be remembered for each drone? I hike a lot and don't want to carry 2 controllers if I don't have to.
I bought one based on this review and I love it but I am having issues finding the PIP OR Picture in Picture option even when the default is set to 2D, yes I am up to date according to the dji fly app any recommendations?
Matthew, Thank you for this video comparison between the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro. It helped me fast track my learning curve of the Mini 4 Pro, just having lost forever my Mini 3 Pro. The improvements from DJI are epic!
