Hey, there. I've one of these same fairings I'm going to install on my Indian Scout. I'm 5'9" and I'm curious where the wind is hitting you on the highway, and if I might ask . . . how tall are you. Thanks.
I’ve got a pair of black wax flesh boots from Nicks and their by far the best boots I ever bought, their pretty hard to break in but am sure with more wear they will get their .
Awesome boots! How many miles total a day have you used these for? In the market for new hiking boots 6-12 mile day hikes… mostly in the 6-8 range. Deciding between v100 and sierra
A dogger heel is sloped directly inward, logger heel is sanded to a concave shape, they are both super cool, if you ever purchase a pair of these, now, you know the difference!
@@greeksalsa123 hopefully that will also prevent dirt from getting underneath the tacked area. I saw lots of dust underneath there in Nick resole videos.
I've been wanting to spend the $$ for a pair of Nick's! As a tradesmen I definitely understand the importance of high quality footwear. Been a redwing guy for 20 year's. Unfortunately redwing has turned into $300 cardboard filler midtear garbage!
These boots are definitely worth the investment, buying a pair of U.S.-made, high quality boots. Like these gives you many years of comfort. In return, you can spend two or 300 on garbage, or 5 to $700 on a shoe that will provide comfort and security.. hope you enjoy your boots when you get them!
Boots look amazing. Even they are a bit wet. The leather is beautiful. How are the soles and high heels combination. Are they too hard and heavy.Thinking to order V lug or 430 mini.
they feel really light on the feet, the arch support and engagement with your foot feels solid and comfortable. I spend many hours on my feet for my job, and these are currently my most comfortable shoes.
@@greeksalsa123 That’s good news. Some people say that V lug is too tick and hard to bend and it is not comfortable for everyday wear.I need a strong, long lasting sole, so it is a good option for me.Logger heel is too high for me, but I will be happy with dogger medium.
Thank you for the video, it helps all of us with useful information and experience. Amazing boot, leather and colour. They look perfect on your feet and will look more and more beautiful with the time. Do you have any experience how the leather react in rainy/wet conditions.
Will you post a picture a video of the toe cap? I was going back-and-forth on whether or not to add that, would love to see what it looks like., especially since yours have been worn, the CXL always patinas nicely
You installed laces on the kilties wrong. The laces start under the kiltie and come out top straight into the first eyelets. It looks way better than having that horizontal lace showing on top.
Beautiful boots and choices, I have been on the fence with the heel but your boots just sold me on The Dogger. Out of curiosity, is that the standard or reduced stack on the heel? I'm still about 5 months out for my W&C boots.
Good video thanks for posting. Wondering how severe is the buffeting on your head? I understand you still get wind, but does it vibrate your head to the point of being a problem? Thanks!
