Wow. Just wow. This man is one of the greatest musicians I've ever heard, and is also one of the wisest. He doesn't lord his time put into music over people and understands that he was blessed with that situation to be born into music. And because of that humbleness, he has so much wisdom to share and is genuinely a great person. This speech should be something that goes down in history as something to be studied, by musicians and non-musicians alike. There's so much to learn from him!
Instead of debating his opponent he just rips a 12 minute groove with an occasional "but what does any of that do to enrich the lives of today's youth?" Tossed in for good measure
What a perfect timming, all the introspection in the "adagio" part of the song, with the minor chords, and then he unleashes a fast slap solo, alowing the release of his and the audience's emotions, and they (we) all clapped for that feeling.
I recognize that string holder....it's call badass....I got one on my bass.... you too dope .....I'm gonna sample you and reach out 75 /25 plus ill play the low end but its all you.....I am......these chords n live drums.....u can have 75
The groove, the phases, the dynamics, the mood and mode changes the transition, with the words, the inspiring words "good people"... Godly people if I may add. He made it look like a movie. What a talk.
Just one of the most amazing people I ever met. Victor will never know how much of an impact he made in my life. Especially my early bass playing years with the personal advice he gave me. Much love.
