Brother, one thing you did here is very dangerous! Always, always disconnect the battery from the negative terminal FIRST!!! If you had accidentally touched metal to the wrench while unscrewing the positive first, this could lead to a spark igniting and potential fire. Therefore, unscrew the negative first and then the positive. Additionally, when reassembling the battery, screw the positive terminal first and ten the negative.
