I love to play various Nintendo video games, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Splatoon 3, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!
♪ I especially enjoy listening to an assortment of video game soundtracks, particularly from the Fire Emblem series and The Legend of Zelda series! ♪
Neither side can afford any compromises; it's all or nothing. I love this track as a desperate last stand, especially of Edelgard and Dimitri (Claude is, on the other hand, willing to abdicate amicably). It's a roaring finale for everything the scions of Hresvelg and Blaiddyd as their final moments are spent giving it their all in a world that is no longer their own, preferring at this point death to surrender in the wake of everything they care for being swept up in the wake of their capitulation. Be the two fighting against the Alliance, Church, or the Empire, their final heartbeats are closer than they'd prefer. But the chaos of destiny often leaves us blind to the knowledge of failure's inevitability.
I like how as the violins start taking over, the emotions of fighting in a war are replaced by a sense of loss, sorrow, and pain. The violins playing are like a reminder that everything has changed, and there’s nothing we can do to get back what bliss we lost. Then the theme tries to go back into some heroic-type music with the horns kicking back in. But it feels like the heroic violins of glory are having a hard time playing by themselves because it’s just overpowered by the other instruments that are conveying that sense of despair and impending doom. It works so well when playing other routes but most especially with Azure Moon and Crimson Flower.
Everytime I listen to the Soundtrack of this game or rewatch parts of the story I remember how much I loved everything about this game when playing through it. I know its definetly not a perfect game but it holds a special place in my heart and to this day it no other game has hooked me the way three houses did.
I like this image. It really represents the characters I’d say. Edelgard and Rhea have half their faces covered in light and dark, like two sides of the same coin; representing both taking morally questionable actions to create a better future for themselves and people around them. Dimitri isn’t even in the light, just facing away from it because he hasn’t looked towards the future, and then you have Claude who is a beacon of light cause he’s the only dude who was caught uninvolved. Then the protagonists having the light shine on them, representing the future they will give to fodlan.
Chasing Daybreak was one of my favorite pieces because it definitely set the tone for the 2nd half of the game. Fodlan Winds had that tone like you're ready to fight and learn....then it switches up like ish is going down now! The game had its flaws but the ost is high tier.
An amazing rendition for an amazing yet somber song. Yet I have one thing to say to have made this even better, mixing it up with the ost ‘At What Cost’.
The Inferno version of this song is really one of those times where little changes do just enough. Like it's so true to the original, but you can still tell it's recomposed and unique.
Canonnically speaking. Edelgard vs Dimitri is an immovable object against an unstoppable force. And then there's Claude who camps high above the clouds on his albino wyvern, shooting arrows down where none can reach him.
HOW DO I BECOME ONE WITH THE ABYSS CLAIM ME FOR YOU ARE THE BRST VERSION OF THIS BY FAR HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Idk my adrenaline is flowing cause im suddenly getting really pumped i love this shit
