Duchess got a lms saloon on the end? I should be at gaydon and maybe Statfold of I don't go Cradley heath as I got invited to run some layouts there. Also gaydon was great electric originally
@@JakeJowett-me8eg has indeed 🙂 Awesome - look forward to catching up again! Thank you I know I am a bit looney but good to know I am not that far gone 😅
You didn’t get much? Man you got an excellent haul. That C55 looks amazing. Can’t wait to see all of these run around the layout. That small layout section with the animals looks awesome, gonna love to see what you come up with on your own section! Sounds like you had yourself a blast! Thanks for sharing!
Hello, Christopher. Very sorry to hear you have a bit of a bug or downturn. Hopefully it will pass very quickly. As far as the general content... no need to worry. You are free to go where your heart wants to go and you can do as much or as little as mind, money, moment allows you. It was fun to see the old JR stock and it is just as fun to see whatever else you put on the tracks... in any scale. Take care and get damn well better damn well soon! lol
@@sakuradensha I spent it at the bala model show running the same layout that's going gaydon😂 brought a model of the preserved clayton in BR green while I was there
"Didn't get much"???? lol That's a nice haul... especially the "Blue Thunder" EH2000. The C56 is a cool steamer... a nice coach set... track and a diorama segment! Not to mention the show itself. That's a f*****g awesome lot to pull in! Congrats on a great day and bit of kit to acquire. Oh, and well done on the layout idea and meeting such a great person! Besides me. lol
I guess that was a little self reflective for that amount of stuff I could have gone for! lol But yes totally agree a great day with great people! I look forward to meeting the next great person in the new month besides Mr Kato! :P
I picked up an original Frog/AMT kit about a year ago, shrink wrapped. The decal options include a South African version but as the kit is from 1967 I'm not certain they are usable. Still, there isn't any flash and the main parts fit together quite well. What a rivet fest though. Not sure what I want to do about that.
With all the shit that is going on in this country at present it's so nice to see a video like this. It takes you back years ago to better happier times
Nice! I'm a fan of the fabulous phantom. What an iconic aircraft. Great recording, what kind of PC specs are you using for this sim? I'd be interested in knowing.
Cool video and discussion, Christopher. Clearly, N is a better "space saver" and has so many more readily available options. I think the allure of TT was always that it was still more space-friendly than HO, but did not decrease size and detail as much as N did/does. Obviously, Hornby is re-entering the game and doing so on the continental size and scale rather than the old UK TT. There is so much for Hornby to work on and it is uncertain how much they can get out or if it is successful enough to expand, much less continue.
It's all good and the more the merrier. LOL Hey, if I can run German, Austrian, Czech, British, AND American trains... why not run whatever you want as you want! :)
Not the best weather, but brilliant video. I loved the shots inside the passenger coaches, but all the locos were cool, too! And some fantastic shots coming around the bend... very well done!
Great video and discussion. Nice demonstration of the pros and cons of each. Dapol seems to be an up and down brand. Hit and miss. Loved the little "Heroic Intro" shout out to your next video, that had me laughing! Cheers!
Well, it sounds like you have picked up quite a few things, along with those shown the last 203 videos! It is great to see you chipper and enthusiastic! Let's ride the wave!
Oh yes, already got the first video being planned the pressure is both on and off basically just where I want it as I will explain later in our chat! :)
Yeah you know what though in this running session they were fine, makes me think that they recognise the higher quality of a Great Western locomotive 😅
@@ModelRailwayShed thank you Deano, if you should like I would be happy to meet up there? Thank you, I do love my collection but the GWR locos are so very dear to me - just something magic about them!
Looks like a great event, CHristopher. What a cool ride and sights from it, as well as some classic WW2 era stock! Nicely done! Thanks for bringing us along!
