Thank you for sharing your story and so pleased you are now on the road to recovery 🫶 , I admire your resilience and strength to get to the place you are today 👏. I have nash/cirrhosis currently waiting to get on the list at Queen Elizabeth in Birmingham. Been having treatment for complications the last 18 months. I too am a strong minded positive person, but it has been tested me of late but great to know others feel the same. Your story gives me hope for a positive outcome 🙏 all the best to you and your loving family ☺️💚
Yeah goggins done a marathon without training and broke all the bones in his feet and damn near died on the spot. You sir are stupid if you are doing high endurance sports with 0 training and expecting a good result? It’s like waiting to get rich by winning the lottery….. 0 preparation or effort yet want 100% of the result 💀
Signed up for an extreme endurance event with no training. I call BS on that, you may be able to prep for a 70.3 in a year, there no way you'll do the full distance after a year....
Just for clarity he has no reason to bullshit. He doesn't mention within a year and he has raised over £80k by doing multiple ironman events, running 100miles within 24hrs and completed marathon de sables. Facts
@@RememberResiliencefact - he said he can’t swim. Fact - he said it was a 2.4 mile swim. Fact he said he signed up to it a hour after he got home…. Can’t swim and signed up to a 2.4 mile swim within a hour of researching it online? 🤣💀 it’s like saying. I can’t fly a plane but I’m applying for a pilot job.
Cool. But he done it and went on to push himself further numerous times raising £80k - these are all facts. I hope you wake up tomorrow hating yourself a little less. Fact
WOW....apart from feeling as if I'm watching twins....this is a fanrastic podcast. Mark...you are truly amazing....how you manage to keep smiling after all you have gone through is inspirational in itself. How lucky your boys are to have you as their Dad.
Was lucky enough to be taught by Mr Burns at St Rochs. Never forgot him and influenced my own teaching career. You were right about not believing in the point of a "punny" (punishment exercise).
Great podcast! Very open and honest. I was lucky to meet Paul at a local market I attended and he was an absolute gentleman. Keep up the great work as you both will be helping and inspiring many people.
