@@thatgirldom ok, can you tell me one thing , if you have a design on only middle and ring finger then from 0-9 on which tip size you will make that design? ( example 3,4,5 or 6)
Inspiration is one thing but copying is another. Only thing I "steal" are products and techniques for nail art and quality. The rest I want to be inspired but come up with something new. Trends are the only thing I feel techs should jump on. Idc how long it takes to come to me I want to be my own muse. You're one of the artists that motivated me to keep working btw miss you!
press-ons are REUSABLE! y’all keep saying “oH i cAn JuST gO tO tHe SaLoN” quick tell me if you’ve ever saved and reused any of the $60+ full-sets you’ve got done….righttttt so yeah yall can keep spending money on fill-ins and full sets just don’t bash a small business for THEIR prices☺️ thank youuu
Dom's definitely 𝗻𝗼𝘁 overcharging. She's a highly skilled nail artist. That, and the cost of the materials, her time, and what a similar design would cost in a nail salon are all factors in her pricing. At a nail salon, prices for these designs would be 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 twice what Dom charges for her press-ons. One of the benefits of buying press-on nails versus going to a nail salon for nail art similar to Dom's is if you attach the press-ons using a method that allows you to remove them without damaging them, you can wear them over and over again. Oh...and if you wear press-ons, you'll never have the added expense of fills! One of the biggest problems women who have their own businesses face is undervaluing their work. It's why so many of these businesses go under; after a few months in business they realize that while they're making a lot of sales, they're not even earning the minimum wage. And to top it all off for all their hard work, they don't get health insurance, paid sick days, etc. The quality of Dom's work is exceptional, and I think she should increase her prices by about $20 per set. At their current prices, her sets are a bargain.
@@MsTwirlyGirly1 wish I can pin this comment 😂❤ most of these responses are from children so they already don’t under or value an artist and want everything to be Shein prices lol.
There are different price and quality tiers for just about everything, and I think people need to be educated that applies to the press-on nail industry, too. When I see the prices for sets on Shein and Temu and it says they're handmade, I think they must be made by slave labor - literally. There's no way the people who are making them are being paid a fair wage for what the sets are being sold for, which makes me think whomever makes them is being forced to do it; perhaps it's prison labor? I'd really like to know. No way would I buy press-ons from them.
In the begining for the nude base coat, did you only cure it after the second coat? Or did you cure it after the first coat too? And do you wipe it after you cure it?
Would you mind doing an updated version of this video now that Apres specifically has added 00 and the half sizes( 4.5 , 5.5 & 6.5) making it 14 sizes per box ? Btw I've looked for a while for an answer to this question ! Thank you so much 2yrs later lol ! Its still the only RU-vid video that give you the set layout for full sets ! 💅🏿❤
love your work. new follower you are right on sizing tips. plus is not like they have to order a aizing kit everytime they place an order specially if they only use 1 style all the time. so sell cause they are not cheap.
Such a cool set! I realize I'm laying bare my own ineptness with liner/detail brushes with such long bristles, but every time I see you using yours (which has been every video of yours I've seen) I've wanted to snatch that brush out of your hand and replace it with one with much shorter bristles that [according to 𝗺𝘆 experience] would be far easier to control. I'm just jealous. 😉
Hi! For sizing kits do you use one where you place nails on card? If so do you ask for them to send nails back as well? Also should I charge for the kits? I don’t currently do that 😩
@@thatgirldom TY! They don’t send them back either! Lol I was wondering if that happens all the time!! BTW your work is phenomenal. And this video was very informational.
