Sigh... my new rebar sculpture (looks like fiddlehead ferns) has feet like that, but it is still falling over. I was hoping to find advice for what you do when two 'feet' aren't doing the job.

I can think of many other things that make me more angry besides watching our furry friends consuming a feed I intended for the birds. Many many other things.

So true! I have 2. One is a very shallow fountain that the hummingbirds, Gold Finches, and Chickadees bathe in. They LOVE it! Then I have another saucer regular bird bath that is deeper for the Robins, Doves, and Jays. Keeping them warm with a de-icer for the winter now so they can continue to bathe throughout the winter months.

New to MO- put up bird feeders this winter and attracted lots of birds but woodpeckers started drilling our roof at 6AM every day. I had to take feeders down to get rid of the woodpeckers. Is there a way to feed birds and discourage woodpeckers?

Im in Northern Arkansas and I just finished making a really cool oriole feeder for oranges and jelly! I also hung up some orange ribbon in a few corners of the yard. Have you ever had anyone use orange ribbon to draw the orioles in?
