Back in 79, when us young guitar players thought we had a handle on what Eddie Van Halen was doing, this song drops and at the 2:15 mark, our jaws drop thinking "What the fk was that????"
Lol that's a good one way back in the day I knew this dude that could play eruption with a Les Paul he also had one of those old school MXR effects that made that exact sound I can't remember what it was called
@@Longhorn.Rock_Roll61 I uploaded the same track to another RU-vid that I don't really use anymore and it was NOT blocked and all was fine and it wasn't that long ago. I'm sure RU-vid makes it up as they go along. They are only backing tracks so that us musicians can have a bit of fun playing along to the real thing. Drives me mad, oh well!
Note: I have had to edit out certain sections of the audio as RU-vid blocked my original audio. Let me know in the comments if you want the complete audio as I will upload it to Google Drive and then add a link in the description. Many thanks 👍 Thanks for the likes and subs as it really helps.
@QBtracksandstuff I hate to ask for another favor and if you can't then don't worry about it but that song has keyboards in it that would really help and I found another backing just like this one but I could tell right off it wasn't Paul Rogers singing but I've been trying to learn the keyboard part myself but anyway you're doing a good job anyway
All of these early photos show Sib Hashian, not Jim Masdea. From what I understand, Jim recorded several tracks with Scholz as demos, before being replaced by Sib as the band's permanent drummer. His original for this song made it onto the album though. Not sure how/why
