I went through the distillery and was informed that the only real difference between the red label and black label is that the red label is aged in used casks.
Jamaican rum is suppose to be sweet? Bruh.. Jamaican rum is men to be funky (not that Appleton is very funky) not sweet. There is no added sugar. Your thinking of rums like Plantation which do add sugar
Tried a sample. Very uneventful. No reason to choose this instead of even the 18 travel edition (46%). If you're feeling rich, go for the 21 instead. I still think the jump in price from the 18 (46%) to the 21 isn't justified on quality alone.
Hands down the best whiskey for the price, it isn’t even a contest. Better than Canadian VO, Mist, Windsor, and I’d even say as good as Canadian Club, but for a few $$ less.
I keep hearing people sing Mount Gay’s praises. I’ve compared it side by side with Bacardi, and I prefer the Bacardi! It’s not bad, but it’s nothing special.
I love vanilla coke, so i just add the spiced rum to a regular coke and there you go. Just don't make the mistake of putting it in ACTUAL vanilla coke... It was a mistake i'll never make again. I'm pretty sure the vanilla flavoring is the same in both of those. Rum is Rum, Spiced Rum is Spiced Rum. They all have their uses.
I remember being underage and basically ending up drinking whatever your friends' parents had in their cabinets. Oftentimes, that happened to be Black Velvet. Then at a party, we discovered UV Blue, which we swore on everything was actually called "Blue Velvet."
I was watching the Documentary. Including the Instagram videos. They are very passionate in the selection to finding the best Quality grains and fruits. Clean 🌿🥃🍏🌾🇺🇸 I will be buying some bottles. I'm excited to try it. They are Masters in Crafting Spirits.🥃 Thank you for Reviewing. It was helpful.
This is NOT a bad whiskey by any means. It's so smooth and has a good flavor. Great mixer! I find it to be actually really soothing to the throat, and the price of it is just a straight-up steal. All things considered, and for a "cheap whiskey" I'd give it a very strong 9/10
The Chichibu's whiskies are, by far, my favorites (The Paris Edition 2023... Ouh la la!). From their Ichiro's range, the white label is definitively a nice and easy, yet sophisticated, drink. But your video really told me it's time I switch to the blue. ;-) I'm not as keen of their green and red labels, but I highly recommand the gold label. Cheers!
So, they're both drams 2 pick- up, right? But here's the thing, are they both very complex and interesting pours? Which one is the winner 🥇 here or, just get' em both-- what say you? Cheers from ETn Smoky Mtns
The most expensive bottle of liquor I've ever bought was a Glenrothes 1972 back in 2006. It cost me $210 at the time and it was worth EVERY. RED. CENT.
Let's be fair the reason why Tanduay sells the most bottles it's because it cost $2 a bottle in the Philippines or less than $20 a case . Bang for your buck indeed
