What I love about Messi's story is that he won the biggest title he's heart desired and no, not the WC trophy. A bigger prize, the love and admiration and more important than that the embrace of the nation of Argentina as one of them as they have always recognized him as more of a Spaniard than Argentinian
Messi doesn't suffer from Ronaldo's vanity & anyway he is still a top, top performer. Of course he's lost his speed but his vision,passing,shooting & ice cool temperament in the box means there's plenty left in the wee man yet. Will he still have it in 2 years, who knows but I don't believe Messi would hurt his nations ambition by putting himself before country. Portugal had a good squad at the Euros but the manager let his country down, as did CR7, he was a passenger with his seat belt off - a liability
He can still help this great Argentina squad win the WC ‘26 and everything in btwn if he wants to. You see Messi contributes in many ways where as Ronaldo is now a poacher liability for Portugal only, he doesn’t contribute nothing but Martinez still won’t get rid
Messi is winning all the trophies for NT. The momuntum is with him. He is the best player on all of them except the last one where he was injured. He should keep going... unlike penaldo who is the baggage to the team since 2018.
I don't support the Argentine chants, but if you think the constant open stadium insults at Messi at PSG for not doing what even mbappe couldn't do for them is right, as opposed to this current chant, then you are an IDIOT! Period.

Unless Messi comes out to speak against racism we will have to assume he condones it, boycott him and the whole Argentinian team. Fifa must take action against them too.

Why this headline saying "Messi's racist chant controversy?"......Why they dont go & pressure all the players who were on the bus who were singing the racist chants, & leave Messi alone!!! He wasnt on the bus & he doesnt have anything to do with being racist..Since coming to the U.S hes made a lot of friends /celebrities that are mostly African Americans,so we know hes nowhere racist....Why do u always have Idiots looking for something negative to pin on him?....So pathetic!!!
