The Florida Insider Fishing Report is an Emmy Award-winning fishing talk show featuring Florida saltwater fishing legend Captain Rick Murphy as host. The show airs Live to Tape on Fox SunSports to over 15 million households for 90 minutes primetime on Thursday evenings with three repeats each week. The Florida Insider Fishing Report’s content is tailor-made for the state of Florida with the goal of educating anglers on where, how and what to use while fishing.
Every edition of the Florida Insider Fishing Report features nine (9) professional captains from regions across Florida, each providing a 3-4 minute fishing report on what is happening in-shore and off-shore in their area. These segments are particularly useful airing before the weekend, so the weekend fisherman can plan an enjoyable day out, spend less time running, and more time fishing successfully.
The Florida Insider Fishing Report airs weekly on Fox SunSports from April to September.
Small correction. Oldest known snook was a male that was at least 25 years old. The majority of fish change sex, but 100% do not as is evidenced by the oldest known individual.
My company has 2 of these engines (2019 & 2020) on 1648 g3 and a friend has one on a 15 ft v hull fiberglass boat. All three engines have a inconsistent skip at wide open throttle. With a three man load or a two man load with lots of work equipment there is no way we are turning too many rpms, and besides when an engine hits its rpm limiter the engine "skip" is consistent, Yamaha simple put a larger prop on them which greatly reduced the hole shot, almost to the point that a three man load barely will plane off. Anyone else having these problems, The engines run great but the electric start models we have do not have a rope start backup which really is a issue when the work boat battery is dead. Because of this I choose to purchase a 20 hp Suzuki electric start, at 107 lbs its doing a great job on my 1448 g3.
This is very helpful information especially for those of us who haven't made it to Florida full time quite yet, thank you very much. Would be really nice if there were chapter links for the various regions.
Hey Captrick good to see you I just in stalled a Power-Pole older model on my Jon boat, I had to sell my Stealth when I got hurt and couldn’t Guide anymore now I have to try and fish with the wife and have something that is easy to handle since I’m in a wheelchair and can’t throw a anchor or push pole. You take care God Bless You.
Enjoyed your video, great tips. I'd like to share one that I just saw on another video ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w4X2693OGZs.html ), using regular hardware store rebar as a sacrificial weight, not as sexy, but just as effective ...
What kind of tool/wrench do you use to take the 4 star screws out from the fluid tank to the motor on the power pole. I need to clean the inside of the fluid intake where the ball check valves are under the filters
In this episode, fill-in host Sarah Melia cues in as on-air segments were shot before a studio audience on FOX Sports Sun in the North region and FOX Sports New Orleans in East Louisiana.
