In the show first names are used to show the closeness of the relationship, it inflects intimacy and familiarity. Like when Simon tells Daphne to use his given name so people will believe they are in love. Colin takes it a step further by calling Penelope “Pen”. They were always meant to have a deep connection. I think calling her Pen also shadowed that she is Lady Whistledown. There’s something special in the way they say each others name.

Appalling. Have read some of the stuff on other social media. Not once have I seen ugly comments coming from men, it is always young women. How insecure you must be to do such a thing. How desperate to attract men. It is pitiful, really.
Agree with you. Some silly little girls I would think. From what I have seen so far, men rarely, if ever have posted this kind of crap. But little girls with complexes do. How can they respect anyone when they don't respect themselves. People with good heads on their shoulders don't do things like this.
Thank you for posting this, we hear Nicola our Queen 👑always being very generous with her kind words towards Luke in every interview she does whether they are together or separate, we rarely get a chance to hear Luke state his feelings. I understand his comfort position with his ADHD and not everyone of us are comfortable vocalising our feelings so freely (and that could not be his love language) so I am REALLY happy to see this clip! The things Nicola did for the tour day in and day out and still does for season 3 is amazing 🥰🥰!! OK! I have re,watched the Bridgerton First Series! I Looked for Francine. She is nowhere is that series, So can someone tell me why she is in The New Season! She wasnt part of the first The Family!
