I have been checking out your CNC videos and have enjoyed them very much. Good audio, video, and most important content. I ordered my Anolex 3030 evo pro and it should be here this coming week. I also have a Genmitsu 3018 Prover with several mods. Two suggestions: I would cover the cooling fan inlet on your controller while using air to clear the debris away. Second, you might consider using Aluminum Profile Slot Covers. The are PVC based and come in many colors. They just snap into the rail slots and they can also be pulled back out if needed. They are usually sold in 4 or 6 meter links and are around $10.00 USD. I used blue on my 3018 Prover and I will be using black to cover all open slots on the Anolex. Again just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your videos on the CNC.
Interesting that the 1/4 bit seemed to have the most audible chatter, but has the cleanest surface finish. Then again, I am new to this, so maybe I am listening for the wrong thing...
You’re definitely hearing it correctly. I’m no expert either but perhaps the larger diameter has something to do with it. Also the router is much louder at 15,000 rpm’s as opposed to 12,000 with the 1/8” bit. Thanks for watching!
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear that. If you have Amazon where you live I’d try that. I got mine off Amazon, or maybe contact AnoleX and see if you can work something out.
Hi! Great video. Could you explain how exactly you swapped the 300w spindle for the Makita router? Did you have to swap the spindle holder for a 65mm holder? Is the makita router hard wired directly to an outlet rather than getting fed power from the pos/neg wires that the original spindle was wired to? Asking because I'm looking to upgrade the 3030 to cut aluminum with less resistance, but I'm having a difficult time finding information on this. Thank you!
Thanks for watching! So in order to upgrade to a router you’ll need to purchase a 65mm spindle mount which is available on Amazon and Anolex’s website. The router is plugged straight into the wall and powered on manually. I just posted a video a couple days ago that covers the process I go through when running a part. You can unplug and discard the original red and black wires for the stock spindle as they’re dc power and no longer needed. In plugged mine from the board to make it a bit cleaner in the back. Definitely get the router if you want to cut aluminum! I’ll be posting videos in the future that covers cutting aluminum. Hope this helps.
I am completely new to this, how did you do the threads on your new design clamps? Did you use the cnc for that? would appreciate your help thanks in advance.
I used the cnc to drill the holes and I tapped the threads by hand. I’m also new to this and hope to make more content that will help others gain the confidence and skills needed to complete their projects. More to come! Thanks for watching!
Hola.
Lol wtf why do this to the bike, just buy a used pit bike and mod it for mid drive, in this u can install a qs273 ebike edition and that can do more kW than a qs138 70h smh
Hey man, Read through your mod log, great work and a fun read. I was just gifted an older ecroco m5 that has awful battery life, and was hoping to upgrade it to 12s lipos like you did. More torque would be nice, however I'm unable to find the same controller you used Wondering if you could point me in the direction of a good controller/spot to buy 12s lipos? Also, if I were to upgrade to the battery, would a new charger be necessary? What would this process look like? After quick research it looks like ecoreco has proprietary connections for the battery, so I assume I will need to cut those and add different connectors. You also mentioned balancing the batteries, what did you use for this? Looking forward to hearing back, I appreciate your time!
I'm building a bike with a qs273 v3 3.5 motor rear hub (Peak output of 16000w). Will this work off-road because I've heard that hub motors don't work well off-road?
They work well off road. Just make sure the axel is clamped tight! I broke my axel on my qs205 after a few months of abuse. Chain drive is best for off-road in my opinion.
Scenery is dope man. Sweet build. I’m trying to look around and get a custom wheel built for a QS 5000w hub motor. Also got a Sabvoton 72150 to go along with it.
Bike is sick man, your build on ES really inspired me to do mine. I got an EEB frame with a 4.8kw mid drive, it’s belt driven as well. Would like to speak with you sometime and maybe bounce some ideas off one another. My name is Turbo Tim on ES also. Mostly read but might share my build.
hey what is the bettery u used cause i already bought my sabvoton controller 150a and dont know what battery to use with. is it peak power in the battery or the continuous power of the battery to look for?????
battery is 72v 24.5ah pack made of 25r cells. I bought it from em3ev. Usually higher peak batteries have higher continuous draw and wont heat up on you. Buy or build a pack that is 20-22s 10p if you want to use 18650s. I love my battery fwiw
Would really like to see the motor stuffed into the razor mx650 you have. I’m doing a razor build Rn. Looked into a 3000w but I think the China 3000w would be unreliable.
Hey man , i builded my stealth recently , and I'm running derailer on the back and using my gears but the chain keep falling of the front sprocket , i seen photo with parts from begging of your built and I seen what looks like front sprocket with guide on both sides of the sprocket , can you remember the brand and name of it ? It would bee weary helpful to have it, thanks for your answer in advice ,and nice build by the way ,keep it up man
I got that from the vendor (I do not recommend) on aliexpress, it came with some parts I ordered. Could you shorten the chain? Also, if you aren't using all the gears maybe go to a single gear, then you can buy a chain tensioner that bolts where the derailer does. If not, maybe try the link below. www.amazon.com/Protector-Mountain-Tensioner-Hollowed-Sprocket/dp/B07TKSKHNR
I'm single sprocket on the front already , and in stealth bomber frame there is no seat tube like in normal bike so I can't mount the item you send in the link , I need gears for bigger hill because mine is budget build(1000 w motor and 48w battery) so it needs little help up the wery big hill that's why I need gears on the back ,when I hawe wery high gear on the back the Hain on the sprocket just felling of between frame and sprocket , I know you don't recommend it but it's there any chance you could find link to that sprocket with dual guide , it's gonna save my life , thanks
@@kamillapaj87 I get what you're saying and understand why you need a derailer. The other part I sent would require fab work to get it to work. Maybe this will work? www.amazon.com/UPANBIKE-Chainring-Aluminum-Protector-Sprockets/dp/B07KXQK2WK/ref=pd_sim_b2b_72?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07KYBBPQV&pd_rd_r=a20388b2-ae99-421d-a42c-14f3c49fb14a&pd_rd_w=js8x1&pd_rd_wg=CmOMc&pf_rd_p=a07701e4-f565-442a-b97f-93ab23cbb7ef&pf_rd_r=FZ9ZZ4BHFH0R6G0886AB&psc=1&refRID=FZ9ZZ4BHFH0R6G0886AB
Hey man! Ive just discovered your older videos, Nice! I just bought a Sabvoton 72150 and a QS 5000W motor. I read that yours died, which is a shame. Im curious as to what you think happened to it, so that I can prevent mine from dying when I get it?
Yo! I did have a sabvoton and think it was a fake (lots of fakes out there) or just a lemon. I had max current set to 100A so I really don't know why it burnt out. I was doing a few WOT runs, maybe the FETs just got too hot. I just ordered a QS 138 2000w mid drive motor, so it should get interesting when that arrives. Good luck with your build, post it on ES.
