Sounds a bit like my 305 Honda engine. It starts on 3 kicks, runs great for about a minute, the float hangs up, starts to run on one cylinder and dies.
At 3 grand a pair lmao this company wont last unless they do the usual sell out to the military plus at a show you let folks use them the pricensays they will be pissed when other makers simply take their technend of company with high prices.
The brand is high roller but these are very expensive with a $900 entry price not including shipping and they are also way backed up with orders so you could be waiting for quite some time before you actually get one.
SOMBODY SHOULD PUT TOGETHER A THEATRIC BIO PIC MOVIE ABOUT THE LIFE OF BILL HANLEY OR ROY&GENE CLAIR ABOUT HOW THEY STARTED IN CONCERT SOUND AND BUILT THE COMPANIES UP FOR THE TOURING CONCERT CIRCUITS. THESE FELLAS PIONEERED CONCERT SOUND AND PAVED THE WAY FOR OTHER SOUND COMPANIES LIKE TASCO. AND MEYERS.
Believe it or not, Burt was only the THIRD person from New Zealand to hold a world land speed record for motorcycles! The first two were Russell Wright and Bob Burns (who was a Scottish immigrant) and their records were set on July 2, 1955 on an only slightly-modified Vincent Black Lightning, of which only 31 were ever made. Russell Wright became the world's fastest motorcyclist on any type of bike at a two-way average of 185.15 MPH, and Bob Burns set a world record for a sidecar motorcycle of 162 MPH!! These records were set on Tram Road, a public two-lane highway outside Christchurch, New Zealand, bordered by gravel shoulders, fences and even a large hedge, NOT on the huge wide expanse of the Bonneville Salt Flats - which makes their records even more incredible! Russell hit a bird at 150 MPH - YIKES! Another incredible fact was that Russell was born in 1929 in Invercargill (!!!) and although he was much younger, was a good friend of Burt Munro!!
My first car at 16 years old was a gold 69 Cutlass 350 with white seats. My first girl friend, who is now my wife of 31 years, rode a lot of miles in it.
I lost the one true love of my life 18 years ago. It still feels like yesterday. I've tried but any other life is just not worthwhile. It's less than I deserve and less than I'm worth. I refuse to settle. I only wish I had the courage to end this existence decades ago. It doesn't get better. I've wasted enough time. I'm ready to go.
A replica of the shell and other parts of his builds reside in one of the best hardware stores in New Zealand, E Hayes in Invercargill, along with other motor bikes and classic cars, in a hardware store. Only in Invercargill!
The bike that Burt Munro devoted his life to now sits in a hardware store in Invercargill, New Zealand, surrounded by lawnmowers and BBQ sets. The store’s late owner, Irving Hayes, bought his old friend’s bike after Munro passed away and put it in his shop - E. Hayes & Sons Ltd. His grandson now continues that tradition. “The most authentic Munro Special is here in Invercargill,” John Munro says. “The first time Dad took his bike to Bonneville he brought it back with him again but that proved too expensive, so in future he left the frame and shell over there and only brought the engine and gearbox back each time. He had another engine here as well and when he sold a bike to collector Dean Hensley in the USA, he fancied it all up and chromed it and painted it. But the bike here in Invercargill is the real McCoy - it still has the original engine number on it.”
