new to the 700 series here. I tried no to use the pedal assistant. I use throttle when I need help from the motor. Is it possible to increase the throttle power in the Advanced Settings?
Cool test. As someone else mentioned, it is best to use voltage for more accurate readings. Mine can go up to 54.4V full charge and I have approximated I can go down to ~42V before it turns off. I modified the settings for voltage according to Ride1Ups youtube video for the display. Be aware of voltage sag as well, the quirk of e-bikes where the display will not show the actual battery left and you must stop using the bike for a few minutes to get the right amount again.

I agree that the ability to change the pedal assist levels is a huge selling point. My first ebike was a Lectric XP -- very solid for the low price of $900 -- but the fixed pedal assist levels meant that I was never quite happy with level 2 or level 3. (In effect, I wanted a level 2-1/2 and 3-1/2!) I also found that the 4" fat tires were unnecessary for the paved trails and roads that I ride almost exclusively, and I'm convinced that the larger tire surface area means that flats are more likely. So . . . Ride1Up came up with solutions to both of those disadvantages, and looks great besides!
I much prefer the Ride1up 700 over the Aventon Pace 500. One is able to change power settings for each PAS in the Ride1up, which I think is a complete game changer. I also think that the brakes, lights and rack are superior, since the Pace 500 doesn't come with lights or a rack. The one advantage the Aventon has over the Ride1up is that you can test ride, purchase and get it serviced at the Aventon dealers / bike shops.
I have a 700 ST with 1000 miles on it. I get about 21-22 miles throttle only when traveling on a flat surface, no headwind or tailwind, and speed not greater then 20 miles per hour. The faster speeds really eats up the battery. I also readjusted my percentage voltage readings so they are more accurate.
