Omg I am so glad I've found your channel!! I graduated from Clemson last year as an L&IH major and am applying this cycle. These examples and tips are so helpful :) Thank you!!
Thank you so much 💗 I just took my first FL yesterday and scored a 497 and was feeling really down about it. This video showed me that it is still possible to achieve my goal score and that I need to believe in myself and bet on myself more than I have in the past. So thank you so so much for this, your energy is so comforting and positive.
i really enjoyed this video, i did 4 blue print full lengths so far, my scores were not that impressive so i've gone back to the drawing board, i've heard kaplan js more difficult do you recommend i get kaplan?
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the STEP 1 last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard
I’m sorry I’m still confused on what exactly happened with studying and resources to score so high on mcat the second time and what you did wrong first time.
I’m sorry your neuro block wasn’t more organized, as someone who wants to go into neurology, your experience was still very interesting ! Thank you for sharing
Hi, thank you for sharing your week with us. I am interested in studying medicine so I am glad I found your channel. I like that you show a balance. You're not just in the books or at school. You have a social life as well. If I can make a suggestion. The sound levels made it difficult to watch. When you're talking, I have to turn the volume up. When you have the music on, I have to turn the volume down. I prefer you just talk and leave the music alone. But I'm going to continue to watch you regardless. Melanin supporting melanin!
babe you are literally heaven sent, thank you so much for your advice. You have no idea how much this has helped me, keep up the good work! thank you again!!!!!!
Hey Morgan! Thank you so much for your videos, I am in STEP rn and they are really helping me out. How did you take the old free120? Did you just do it by hand? I am only able to find the PDF and not the true interface
i discovered your channel the end of 2023, as im studying for the mcat & prepping for medical school applications and ive been so overwhelmed😵💫 thank you so much for your videos. congratulations🎉 and i wish you the best with the rest of your med school experience!!
Yay! I am so glad you are on RU-vid now I have been following you since 2019 on Instagram. I feel like Mental health support is one of the most important things in medical school that I’m looking for. I loved your medical school acceptance video with the song from Annie! Can’t wait to see more content from you.
Yay, I love connecting with those that have been around since the beginning of my journey. Mental health support is not something many consider when making a school list, but I’ve learned firsthand that it is SO important!!
Hi, So happy to see WOC in healthcare! Congrats sis! Curious - do you offer 1:1 sessions? I want to pick your brain. Also, I noticed you listed a few freebies links on your bio but they're only paid documents. Happy to support but just wondering if freebies were your free resources? Thanks!
Hi, I don’t offer one-on-one sessions right now based on my schedule. Thanks for letting me know about the links - I will update those. You can use this link to access both my paid and free resources. However, you should see the following free resources - Med School Application Tracker, Scholarship Master List, Med School Interviews Guide - Traditional and MMI, USMLE Step 1 Resources. melanin-in-med.teachable.com/courses.
@@ZainabMalik-eu8fp both! Many of the science classes you’re going to have to self study to understand!! Most important thing is to ask questions!! Even if it seems like your asking too much, or seems simple
@journeedunn3388 ok tysm. I was researching and honestly considering not doing medicine because nothing was telling me if collges teach you for the MCAT or med schools teaching for the USMLE
Its more so you take pre-req classes that prepare you with the basic knowledge and concepts over the span of your 4 years. But you will still have to self study to make sure you have the best understanding!!@@ZainabMalik-eu8fp
I took notes for most chapters of the Kaplan book which I don't recommend in hindsight. I would just make summary sheets on key topics. You can use Anki to learn and solidify content from each chapter!
