I wish that the Wish had midship elevators as for someone like me walking can be tiring and discomforting. I’ve booked it last year and was supposed to go on it this year but ended up cancelling it (due to family matters) so I booked it again for September next year as I’m still willing to try it out and also I have never been to Castaway Cay before and I’ve been wanting to go there for so long now. The sailing I’ve booked will be ending on a date that the Magic will also be at Port Canaveral on the same day so I’ve also booked the Magic which means I’ll get to visit Castaway Cay a second time and visit Lookout Cay as well

As nice as the Disney Cruise is, I'll admit that, it's not really for me, mostly because I don't feel comfortable with the idea of being out at sea

Disney are refusing so many people the DAS pass. They don’t want medical evidence, they’d have to give too many out. They just push the narrative that they’re reducing the number of scammers. I know of someone who was asked how the Das applicant normally coped with crowded places/confined spaces/large crowds and queues. There was feeling that the fact that they could manage the journey from the UK put them at a disadvantage for getting DAS

I don’t know if they still have it but you used to be able to ask a cast member about a character and they could find out where in the park the character currently was? Art of animation looks much more magical and Disney like sorry you didn’t get that feel a Caribbean beach! I’m hoping to have a park day or 2 when I go to Florida in the spring when I visit my parents! They like to escape the Chicagoland winters and stay in Florida!

I think the quality of Carribian beach resort stays are very much based on which area your room. Family’s tend to be put or request the little mermaid rooms which are where you stayed. Unfortunately this area is a little further out. We knew we wanted to be closer to the skyliner so we requested Aruba and it was perfect. We where near the bridge that takes you from that side of the lake over to port royal for the quick serve and main pool and then also could use both sky liner stations depending on where we went that day. For anyone considering that resort I would say request which area suits what your family wants more.

Hi Rhi, thanks for the great video. We've stayed in a standard room in art of animation (family of four) and have booked a standard room at Caribbean beach resort for 2025. So think comparing standard rooms they seem similar with extra pull down bed in Caribbean beach. We had the little mermaid room and there was some theming but not as much as I can see from a suite room. Although I love the theming around the resort of animation and their pool. Great video and excited about our trip next year

I just want to let you know i have autism. That doesn't upset me because I qualify for DAS, so what do I care ?. But the reason why I'm still angry is because there are a lot of people who dont have autism that still need to use the system and this is another way for Disney to exclude those who still need it.

If you wanted to make it a little faster again for next time, you can select the payment method as cash for all, get to the port arrival time quicker, then at any time up to 3 days before you cruise you can edit the payment method back to your preferred card, that’s what we done (we got off the ship the day you got on) 😊
