@@paulopc77 I don't see an option to lower that, maybe set your low alarm higher? I used to hate the sound of it saying it over and over so I ended up setting my low alarm so low at 45 and it never said anything until I got super far out
@@dwarfstarfpv2056 hey App Store I used to manage so damn all day long 30 to $40 a pop I'll let you haggle the price down to $20 to make you feel special
I’m a noob so I don’t want to annoy you, but could you tell me what equipment you use? I would love to try this first person flying. I wear glasses-do I need to wear glasses with the goggles that you use? Any guidance would be so much appreciated because this looks just totally awesome! Love your videos! So great! thank you.
@@dwarfstarfpv2056 I just got the new speedy bee f7 mini stack but only have flown 2 packs on it yet , , I hope you are making 3D printed parts still lol I still have the ones you made me but I need more for the new build !
Why would a battery get heavier with age? What us getting added? I think your 1yr old batteries were tha weight from the factory and the new ones are just lighter because they weren't made from the same run of cells....possibly even a different manufacturer.
hi DwarfStar, can you help me out? I followed your instructions I think I managed successfully flashing the board using keil w/o any errors, but I can't seem to bind to my tx. I'm using jumper t-lite with internal jp4in1. I tried all three bayang on the silverware with no luck. thanks in advance :)
If you are still thare can you help me? It says eror flash downloads failed -could not load file c\user\admin fe_silverware-master\silverware\objets fe_silverware.axf'
I've bought 8 6s 1000mAh ovonics and they were all at ~30mOhm internal resistance when they got here. I charged them up at 0.5c, flew them and on 50% throttle, 30A draw they were sagging down to 3,5V/cell. I tested all 8. They all had this problem. Eventually I charge/disscharged them on the bench 7cycles and they would settle down to 15mOhm/cell. just way too high for me. I will return them and buy some chnl
ovonic is not new, it is a design from the 1980's when there was going to be an explosion of EV vehcles . the owner and inventor of those batteries that a set , much lighter than lead acid, could provide 200 miles range . and the owner was forced to sell lto an oil corporation. who shut down the website. for an entire year!!
Hello! New subscriber here! Very cool channel content! Congratulations! Like #7 and subscribed! Let's be friends man! Best regards from Bucharest Romania!!
Thanks for the review I am using 2 3s 8000mah in my 6s boats, no heat, no swell, so far...only ran twice but so far I am a fan especially for the price. Time will tell... BUT your flying?! WTF?! You should be a "fighter pilot" you'd be one of the best in the world! You have major skills!
DwarfStar I need help? I have had a working Keil file for the last 5 months, I have flashed a few more boards and tweaked pids many times. The other day I went to flash a board, I got in to Keil, then I accidentally messed up a few lines of code, I spent hours trying to get it back with no errors. Then I decided to delete it and re-load Keil. After that I can not get it to work anymore. So bummed. I have been trying everything for close to a week now. My St link file and connection still work fine. The problem is with Keil. Seems like when I load Keil now its version 5.29 I wonder if there is something wrong with that version. Its also been giving me a string error. So I went to hassle of changing all my settings to me as the Administrator, I am using a computer that was my Dad's. And it had Him listed as the main user. So When I register for Keil with my data. It loads up Keil and sees my Dad's name in the string. It instantly gives me an error that the string is wrong. So after days of figuring out how to change admin. names and user's, I finally got the string to have my info. in the line. I have tried at least 50 times now, to get it to load. No luck. One thing I see is when I download the NFE file from github, it never shows B-whoop in the build window bar. NFE keeps showing up in the build window box. Also I think a few times I did get the B-whoop in the white build box. But the whole build tree was all exclamation marks on every setting all the way down the tree. Following your vids and every vid I can find. Bound and determined to get back to Keil. I have a brand new box of about 15 B-whoops that all want Keil. Also spent about 10 hours building my own custom frame. I just completed my latest build on my new frame. Flew it twice and it was so radical. Then this happened. Wonder if you have any ideas what to do?
Oh man that sucks but I've never had or seen that happen before, for your quads do you save each file independently? That's what I do so if keil even gives a problem I uninstall it completely and reinstall and that normally fixes everything but if you use one file for all your whoops and you just tweak by memory then it's harder but save your files and reinstall if you haven't tried that yet
These batteries suck you may have a good experience with it I had watch the video so I don't care but I just want to let everyone know out there stay clear the hell away from these batteries waste of money made me want to think twice about not buying venoms after breaking after a few runs trash
Pretty much the best Lipo ever and you’re the one who got me to start using them I was thinking about making a video about these too but I don’t want everyone else to start using them because they’ll go out of stock again LOL. @DwarfStarFPV
I'm having issues getting the STLINK software to connect to the board. Getting "Can not connect to target! Please select 'connect under reset' mode from Target -> Settings menu and try again" Tried: 2 different PC, one Win 7 and one Win 10 Uninstalling STLink and Drivers, and reinstalling. Different USB Ports tried flipping the SWDIO and SWCLK just in case I've got them in the wrong spot. I am 100% sure that 3.3v and GND are in the right spots. Tried powered by ST-Link's 3.3v rail, and a 1S lipo. Anyone run into this before?
Wow you definitely have tried everything, my last thought is it could be a bad board because just uninstalling the drivers and stlink utility fixes that problem, which board exactly are you trying to flash ?
@@dwarfstarfpv2056 well, in the tiny whoop Facebook group we figured out that I had bridged a pin. Took out that pin and powered with a battery and it worked. Finally got it flashed around 4am :-D did a test flight (to my wife's chagrin) and caught it in the face LOL
@@ArdinMcAllister had the same problem. Care to explain the solution or at least show me the page about that bridged pins? Still stuck on this St link cannot connect 😢
I am trying to flash my 65s lite to something fly-able again. I lost track of the pid gestures one day trying to make the yaw a little more snappy. I followed this tutorial but my quad just spins clockwise a few seconds after arming. Can I just put the stock silverware back on it using this method? Or do you have any recommended settings for NFE? Thanks
I saw that in your other video.. Does that still apply if the props are spinning in the right direction? They are in props inward, and does it change anything if they are brushed motors? I thought they might be directional because they have different colored wires
@@pandabang if I remember correctly red and blue wire is CW and white and black is CCW so once you have CCW at the top left and bottom right and CW at top right and bottom left and you swap your props around it should stop doing the crazy yaw spin when you arm and try to fly
Hello, how can I know if a uart is bidirectional? I got a geprc f4 stable flight controller in a very small quad copter and it doesn't have a telemetry pad just the sbus pin and TX 1 pad, I can't make it works with the r-xsr, did you use the normal smartport wire or from the "p" pad on the receiver?
So F4 boards are the most complicated when trying to get telemetry you're gonna have to use the uninverted signal from the r-xsr to get telemetry to work
I was super stuck. After about 10 hours...and watching every video I could find. I got my B-whoop flashed with Silverware. So excited to accomplish this. Your video gave me a few tips that helped me get things figured out. I was really stuck when the St link programmer would not connect to the board. I removed all St link downloads a few times, re-loaded, Up-dated the st link programmer. set it to normal. and got it to load. I feel the update to the st programmer was a big key to getting it going. Now I have my modded Devo 7e with B-whoop pro. angle and acro. with the Fo2H fpv cam...This thing is super impressive...Eventually I will try the Keil software out. Just running the pre-compiled Bwhoop.hex file at the moment. Thanks so much for making this vid. p.s. I also built up a carbon fiber framed quad with B-whoop board...7/20 motors and 65 mm KingKongs...with 300mah nano tech...and micro fpv rig....Its so amazing...Now It will have acro too...Big smiles man..Peace out.
Awesome man ! The whole flashing had me scratching my head for weeks haha so when I got it I was super excited and had to help out others ! Silverware is really good little to no tuning and you're set
@@dwarfstarfpv2056 Hey DwarfStar, Wonder if you might have any ideas. I built up a carbon frame, 8.5/20mm ripper with a b-whoop flight controller. I flashed it with silverware...it was flying so nice. So much power and control. But in angle mode it had a little bounce. oscillation. So I decided to try and get keil on it. So I could tweak the pids. In the process I somehow managed to brick the controller. Not getting any led's lighting up now...Also no voltage detection on screen when I plug li-po in.Tried everything possible. Any ideas? I know the board is erased. But now the st -link can't connect. It needs to detect voltage to complete the connection. Any tip's would make my day. Peace out.
@@dwarfstarfpv2056 Powering it from a lipo. Tried everything possible. Think its my first bricked board. Even after all my Beta flight builds. I grabbed another b-whoop board..Now I am talking Keil....Soooo stoked. Gonna order a bunch more B-whoop quads...So amazed how these fly...Been up about 60 feet doing huge LOS acro flip's all directions with my custom carbon frame bwhoop 65mm king kong running my Devo. It rally's almost as fast and as hard as my 5 inch and 3 inch brushless quads. So much fun talking to quads like engineers do. Thanks so much man for your vid. Had to watch it a bunch of times.
@@toddspeck9415 I've bricked betaflight boards before and the stlink utility has helped me reflash stock firmware so your board might have burned out something, maybe try powering from the V+ pad on the board but the nice thing about the bwhoop boards are they are super cheap, you buy the whole quad or just the boards?
No they actually don't but at that point which is like 3 to 4 mins of flying I like to land at 14.5 so it recovers back to around 14.9 I've gone all the way to 14v but I wouldn't recommend it because if you continue to drain the battery that much its gonna die faster
@@dwarfstarfpv2056 the 4s 1300s are cheap available at amozon but the 1550s are way expensive harder to find in us. Should have bought them way back for under 20 bucks rdq s 4s 1500mah is much cheaper. Better I don't know but the rdq s been solid. Even after resting at 3.6- 3.7 per cell. Once a name gets popular most cases prices go up.
@@rchaze yup that's true it's sad though ovonic was pretty cheap I might actually pick up some of those rdq lipos since ovonic thinks it's cool to raise prices they have been around for sometime now and rdq has great quality stuff
I can vouch for the ovonics they are legit packs. They lightly change the components from time to time so that can explain the difference in weight, most recently they changed to a different harder cosmetic plastic wrap and separator. I have also noticed they jacked prices up.. check their site ampow.com the packs are usually on sale there with more variety in specs and stuff. 👍
@@MaxBeamer yeah prices are really high I was able to rline 3.0 s in 4s 1550s batteries cheaper. So far I have no complaints after 20 hard cycles no puffen their 1300 1800 2000mahs been great. Only if the prices drop by a lot.
