What is it like to live with blindness? On this channel, I’ll show you exactly what that looks like!
Only the most important questions about life with a vision impairment get answered here, like “How do blind people use Instagram?” and “How many times do blind people wipe?”
I also have my series “Blind Guy Tries”, where I explore challenges from the unique perspective of a person without eyesight.
My name is Josh Tseng, and by the age of 16, I had lost most of my usable eyesight due to long-term deterioration caused by glaucoma. Since then, I’ve started advocating for better understanding about people with vision impairments like myself by speaking publicly about my personal experiences.
Subscribe to join me on this adventure, and I’ll see you on the other side (or maybe I can't).
I feel like a lot of people forget that deafness and especially blindness are spectrums. Legally blind doesn’t mean no sight AT ALL, and types of blindness very wildly. In general, people have so many misconceptions about blindness and deafness that they’re almost unwilling to rectify.
Hi, I am a student at INTI College. The interview can be conducted online or text message since it is easier to reach. The project is about Visually Impaired Object Detection. It uses a phone camera to detect the objects and send the descriptions around them. I have at least seven interview questions. I asked you in the question section under community tab, yet no responses form you. Are you free? If not, can use text as an interview.😅
I wasn’t allowed to touch things as a completely blind person. Especially when we were at the store. I was taught to keep my hands to myself because touching and feeling everything is socially inappropriate and it’s unacceptable. I was fully restricted from doing it. I even had an orientation and mobility instructor say that they were concerned because I was touching and feeling all the wrapped candy at a gas station. Needless to say, I learned that feeling all over everything isn’t acceptible.
