At these price points just get a bren. After all the Canadian junk out there I’ve tested throughout last couple years I’ll stick with and settle on a Bren 2 and a tavor. $1900!!! Get out of here….garbage. Won’t be spending my money on this!
The double folding enforcer….. I’ve had some fun with it but I’m still waiting for a proper manual. Never have I seen a firearm on the market without…… disappointing and that’s the end of my purchase of a Canuck firearm
One of two possibilities, they took it to the States somewhere to shoot, or video editing. Third very remote, they got something they ain't allowed to have here in kommieland kanaduh.
Canada desperately needs the Conservative Simplified Classification System. We could have actual AR's AK's and all the other sporting rifles available in every other country. So stupid we can't buy 90% of sporting rifles offered in every other country, because some idiot politician watched one too many Hollywood movies.
The price point is what separates them from the more expensive top of the line rifles and shotguns. For the most part, it gets the job done, and if something were to happen, you got great warranty and service!
@@CanadianCaliber yep, already got a fixed stock one, got to support Canadian business, it's great to see the Canadian flag printed on the bolt. overall building material is solid, just hope they could be getting better on reliability.
@@CanadianCaliber I'd rather wait a year and get the best rifle on the market than pay the same price and get one that can't last 300 rounds without breaking...
@CanadianCaliber great customer service doesn't make up for garbage products. Yes i know the 180 system was dabbled in by America and then they ditched it because they couldn't make them good! I dont mind something being or just sub par as long as its priced accordingly but when they cost as much as a decent to almost nice ar15 in the states would cost is ridiculous!
will the gas blocks fail on these also like the 5.56 versions? I get buying cheap canadian made junk and having it fail catastrophically, but spending over 3k on a rifle and having it do the same is absolutely unforgivable.
i definitely hate guns that don't work, but if they've actually sorted this design out i will have no reason to hate on them. Going to a piston design closer to what the rifle is actually supposed to be based on (the ar 180) is a great choice, it is proven to be extremely reliable, let's just hope their version is also.
were you using the same ammo all the time? factory? hand loads? any feeding issues? This looks like a good platform and I'm in the market....want to see/hear more on this and the gen 3 WK as far as reliability goes. Great video btw
@@CanadianCaliber does it actually say “Canuck” directly on the firearm? Like my Benelli says Benelli right across the action in big letters, which I really don’t mind, but I wouldn’t want it to say Canuck like that
Wow where to start, it's a .308 so why not push it all the way to a 20" barrel? Dude points out the adjustable gas block but all his casings are ejecting at the 1-2 position showing it's very over gassed so either he didn't adjust the gas or the gas adjustments just control how over gassed you want the gun, and greater than 1 moa with Federal 168 grain SMK's... with a 1:10 twist... how do you manage that... literally Moa ammunition in every rifle I own... anyways it would be interesting to see if this passes the CFET trials or if they would have to stop the test early due to abhorrent results like the siberian did. Hard pass I don't wanna pay 1899 plus tax to have something blow up in my face
@worstcase519 I dunno man for the price tag that's very similar their 5.56 model has lots of issues and .308 semi autos in the states group alot better than 2" plus. All my hunting rifles shoot sub moa and my buddies stag 10 did 1" groups with sierra GMM, so to be on the tight to middle range of NATO spec is pretty piss poor
Unfortunately yes. We aren't aloud to won things built right. And people just keep jumping on this "atleast its built in canada" yea.. and?? Cigarettes can be made in canada and we wont brag about that. Its only good to be happy its made here if its any good. I remember the wk180 gen 1 just before the ar15 ban was like $500 and required what it would cost to get a decent ar15 to make run nice or you could just spend the $1500-$2k and get a decent ar15 that worked well. The ar15 ban happened and wk with their grubby fingers raised the price to what an ar15 costs. The probably spend very little to make them they just know we dont have any other chocies
In 2004 I bought a Norinco M305 (M14 Clone). It is amazingly accurate for a cheap Chinese rifle. I can empty the 5 round mag into a twoonie (Canadian 2 dollar coin) sized target at 100yds. I bought it for moose hunting here in northern Canada. But after the Lie-berals illegalized it, it ran away.
BCL, get your barrels right. ITS SHOULD BE TIGHTER WITH THESE AMMUNITIONS. Of course different guns like different ammo’s but there’s no excuse with some of these choices. That just made my mind up on a future purchase. I’m tired of having to upgrade a rifle with thousands of dollars before getting a premium product . Lockhart is guilty as well. !!!!!!
