It's funny not having Abbie here! But also lovely to see Daniel back again. This is the first episode with only ten pink windmill kids - after this one Kate swaps with Hugh & Daniel swaps with Abbie for the next season of the Live shows!
Any clues on on what happened to the kids? I think I found one who was still making music in London - but they seem to have all disappeared. Probably all living life with families etc. I wish we made this kind of TV again!

Watching this movie gives me a mixed feeling of love, sadness, melancholy, that music has magic, a lot of feeling, thanks for sharing it, thanks Michel Legran and all these artists, I plan to visit this small town in France.
I’m still amazed that Legrand studied with Nadia Boulanger when he was young (Quincy Jones did, too....mind blowing, after all these years). That explains a whole lot. The way he writes and plays piano is absolute magic to my ears!
I agree! It has to be one of my favorites. It’s so nostalgic! Little thought...if this was the all live cast, then we wouldn’t have heard “I’m Joe to you” when the kids were introducing themselves...
Using your mobile phone and texting your friends when driving your car is dangerous indeed you are a danger to yourself and other road users on the road. Think 1st dont answer your phone at all.
Wow... this has made me so happy. I loved Emu’s World as a kid... I actually remember very little of the show... but this episode is one that I remembered the most. Bits and pieces only, but it all started coming back to me as I watched it here on RU-vid. Thank you for uploading it.
Superlative! Great narrative against Stéphane Grapelli's combo artistry with telling clips that do not give away what matters. Am insatiable: have seen this movie - no exaggeration - perhaps 3 dozen times, first as of its first run at an art movie theater in N. Orleáns in Oct. 1965, followed at the Varsity Theatre with my then future wife on Tiger Town at LSU (she later had "You will always be my Guy" inscribed inside my wedding ring) and repeated times afterwards, as well as most clips on youtube. Bought the Philips sountrack album (twice); taped a tv broadcast on cable in the 1970's; afterwards purchased the VHS issue as well as the laser-disc version and 2 dvd issues (that I have shared at home with initially skeptical couples), all of which, but for the first utterly worn out LP - I still possess.
